Hmm well I would probably say it would start in the USA,though I might let it start in the UK,I favor adding it the US But if anyone has a suggestion as to where im open to it.
As for the plot to how it spreads to said Starting Country
The Archeologists would bring the Body/Scripture Page to a Museum in the said Country and a outbreak would begin fairly fast,the way to stop/keep it from spreading and the origin would be in the Scripture Page,The cure would be something unique humans rarely see of find in the world now. possibly a unique Herb or Fluid in a certain place but the cure only affects those who arent turned and are about to.
But again I'll have a plot down by tonight just need to piece it together and write it down.
