Axel/Roxas was just one of those alleged couples. Do I think that it's possible that Axel and Roxas were gay for each other? Yeah, I wouldn't say that it's impossible. However, by no means was it confirmed in the storyline. The only thing we know for sure is that Axel cared very deeply for Roxas. On that note, though, I am willing to concede that Axel/Roxas is probably the most likely yaoi couple in this game. But before you say anything, yaoi fanatics, I refuse to support Soriku regardless of how much fanfiction you throw my way! It's just not happening, darnit!

Anyway, the first (and only) time I played KHII, I totally thought Axel was gay. Totally. Then my common sense kicked in, and I knew he couldn't be gay. He's just really attached to his best friend. But could you really blame me? The entire first six hours of KHII was so disorienting. :P
 
haha, i seriously doubt he's gay seeing as it was disney and 12+ (which was probably a first for disney) and anyway, if axel and roxas were gay, does that make axel a pedophile?

Wheres your proof? All your posts are just ramblings of sexuality and porn. Stop it and make some decent posts. This is basically just spam and people are sick of it.
 
haha I am a big Yaoi Fan....(WAITS FOR FLAMES) So I voted yes... I also voted yes because in an interview I read, the guy who made KH (who's name always slips my mind... SHAME ON ME) said that he left all the characters relationships open. So fans could mix and match the characters as they liked. He said he didn't care if people wanted Sora X Riku or Sora X Kairi etc. So long as his fans were happy.

So I voted yes because Axel very well could be gay. It was left open for the fans :)

But seriously, I think KHII had a lot of fan service geared towards people with that interest.

I mean think about. Sora didn't go back with Kairi 'cause he wanted to bring Riku back too. It had nothing to do with the Nobodies and such; his desire was to bring his friend back with him. The whole "be a hero" thing again was just an afterthought really.

Axel is pretty devoted to Roxas; I think it shows more between the two in KHII Final Mix+(which I don't have; will it ever come to North America?) . Axel wanted Roxas to remember himself, and somehow not rejoin with Sora, or something.


And anways, there's always innunedo in a lot of RPGs.
 
I actually do think Axel is gay, though i don't think roxas is.

Personally I think he isn't, just that he likes Roxas as a friend. I also think he has a heart.
 
finally a thread about this!! the whole way through kingdom hearts 2, i waz just like man this axel guy is actin a little fruity towards roxas. and then as the game kept progressing and u learned more about there past together and how devoted he waz to him, it waz hard to believe they were just "friends". the scene where u c roxas leave the organization and axel got so upset reminded me of a couple breaking up. there relationship waz just.. TOO close if u ask me.
 
Axel...gay? I never got that vibe. Seeing as I'm a homo myself, my gaydar (evry gay has 1) would've went haywire.

I say he has a heart made of emotions, yes.

My reason's for thinking he is gay is that he was VERY attached to Roxas, even through Sora ... OH SHII WAIT I JUST CONTRADICTED MYSELF HERE.

I retract previous claim of Axel being gay.

And no, i got nothing against yaoi or using awesome characters in it.
Just some awesome characters don't belong in it.

i agree. he really had a connection and a bond with roxas. being as they seemed to come off as teh youngest ones in teh roganization. so he merely looked out for his friend and didn't want to see roxas fade away .

like when axel kidnaps kairi he says something around the line of "we're both tired of waiting for someone we care about", see the parallel? kairi n sora are in love, and axel could care for roxas in the same way for all we know. you'll all admit sora and kairi are a straight couple in love, so why cant axel love roxas

further more when he is dying he talks about how roxas was the only one who made him feel. nobodies dont have hearts, and what do you do with a heart, you love and care. sure he could ahve cared for roxas as a friend, but would that be enough to make a nobody "feel". would it have been the same if riku would ahve hugged heartless sora, no. i dont think sora would have regained his form by hugging riku "a firend". it was kairis love. its always extreme love that tends to make all the extremes in this game occur, iunno just think about it, closing your mind to possibilities that are evident doesnt seem very wise, so if u dont beleive that theyre not gay thats ok, doesnt mean that its farfetched in the least bit

also dumbledore from harry potter was gay
and it was never mentioned in the book
but all along JK rowling had a vision of him as gay
and didnt reveal it till the end of the series

I dont think axel was gay, but it would it have made any difference if he was? people are different in the world; Sexuailty, race, religion etc. however none of this seems to have been shown in games of Square-Enix in the past. maybe it could be something to look at for the future as our world has people who are different in race, sexuality and religion so it could make the games more realsitic and be much easier to relate to our own world and the things that are real in our world.
 
Axel isn't gay. Here I was thinking that Nobodies don't have feelings at all. He just cares for Roxas and probably the relationship between them is mutally like being brothers. They look out for each other.
