Basically FFX-2 really didn't have the same "feel" and atmosphere as that of X. It's a lot more light hearted and fast paced. The colours definitely seemed a lot brighter plus the FMV's seemed a little better (is it just me?).
I mainly bought it to add to the small FF collection I have. You can't really go wrong with it I suppose. If you don't appreciate it in the sense of a Final Fantasy game then it's still fun enough to enjoy in a platformer, "don't-worry-about-getting-to-a-save-point" kind of game (if that makes any sense).
