My pool is all ready and filled with water. I had the urge to go swimming yesterday cause it was so hot. But Sadly I did not. Do you like swimming? Any summer related activities you look forward too? Mods if this is not in the right section feel free to move it.

I dont go to public pools anymore cause I know those damn 10 year olds pee in the water and thats disgusting! I use to go alot though with friends in the summer and play games in the deep end with the life guards like sharks and minos (FUN!, the lifeguards always win! they were so damn fast)

O there is this river we like to go to sometimes and at the end it has this small waterfall you drop from... but the water is freezing!! it takes me like 5 minutes to fully submerge myself in it cause i most likely would pass out from just jumping in it lol. We go down on inner tubes to reach the waterfall.

I wish I had a pool in my backyard but those are to expensive, ill get one though when i get my own place hopefully soon.

I like going swimming, it's relaxing and just plain fun to do. It's more fun to go with a group of friends, and round here, go to the pool that has the wave machine xD It's awesome.

But no, haven't gone swimming yet. It was only really warm for about a week, during study leave so no one was doing much, and then the rain came back.

Lame.

I swim like twice a week at my local leisure centre. It's not too bad, I swim in the faster swimmers section..even though I don't swim that fast. 30 laps each time, I have very good stamina for swimming.

I can't swim, but I enjoy going to the pool. As long as it isn't too busy, I hate stupid kids who splash you in the face, and old people who try to swim in lanes. <_< I prefer going to the sea, it's so relaxing being up to my neck in water, and I love playing in the waves too. And I like lying on the beach and just being warmed by the sun and stuff, but I HATE getting sandy. >_>

I only wish I had a swimming pool that was free around my area. See I own a house slightly outside the city limits, so anything that involves a swim pool is either apartment/condominium owned or a club.

I belong to Anytime Fitness but if anyone has ever been to one of those, then they know it is strictly treadmills/cardio stuff and free weights.

It gets to near 98+ degrees here during the summer time, I can only hope to go to the lake every now and again. My parents have a lake house up in Smithville,TN but I haven't gone in near 2 years. Oh well, I can only hope for good storms without the humid.

Well i dont have my own pool :wacky: also i live in scotland so the summer here aint much to brag about although i must say over the past few weeks wev had some really grreat weather. I was in turkey about a month back so i went swimming everyday over there, at the pool and in the ocean it was awesome.

Well it's Winter here so I've not even thought about a pool. XD

My parents have one and I go there if I want to swim.

Our old complex that me and Steve used to live at also had a pool. But I never went in it.

Sadly the Summers here have been getting colder and it sucks.

The last time I went in a pool was last August when we went up North to Caloundra. It had a heated pool considering it was still Winter though.

I sink like a rock, and after a certain incident, I'm now a bit paranoid when I'm near water. I could probably stay in the shallow end, or just stare at the water............

We have our own pool, though I'd rather go to proper one >.>
As for swimming I'd just end up doing lengths for fitness purposes rather than go to enjoy it :wacky:, swimming's probably the best sport you can do for fitness anyway >.>

As for summer, I'll just be chillin' :awesome:

I live quite literally a stone's throw away from the beach. So I can go swimming whenever I want. It's currently Winter and that's far too cold for me to go swimming, especially because the wind can be absolutely freezing even if you're wearing thick clothes. And the bad thing about summer is that everyone goes to the beach so that's a pain, so I normally stick to swimming in Autumn and Spring when I can be bothered.

swimming !

i haven't even gone swimming since like last year lol but i really want to go coz i used to the best at swimming i went to this swimming school and everything

I wish....I almost died swimming down in VA Beach when I was little, so when I swim, I get really paranoid and freeze up. I guess I compensate for this by doing BJJ/Muay Thai/Boxing and keeping fit in other ways haha

Well it's winter here, so I won't be swimming for a few months. To be honest I don't really enjoy swimming, I prefer to just chill in the water or dive into pools.

I like going to the beach on really hot days, but I don't like it when the water is too wavy or when it is too crowded because as I said, I prefer to just chill in the water. I remember my friends and I used to sneak into a high school pool on really hot nights. It was really fun there because they had sails hanging over the pool, so we would dive off the sails. Good times

I'm so mad, it's summer yet it feels nothing like summer. No fireflies, its not hot at all, its always rainiing. it sucks :(. The pool is almost overflowing

I would never swim anyday if it weren´t for my girlfriend. Thanks to her, I will take a swim sometime this year too ^^´ She forced me into the water last year, and I guess it will happen this year too.

I haven't gone swimming yet, and I probably won't for a while. My Aunt's pool, where I usually swim, just got a tear in the lining. And all the water came out, and it's going to cost a ton of money to fix the lining, and they probably won't fix it for a while. So I'm not going to be swimming for a while. It bummed me out. =(

Of course! I love swimming, and my family just got our pool cleaned up and ready to go a few days ago! Hopefully I'll swim much more often this summer, though, since our family almost never uses the pool enough.
