The best way to tell when to stop charging and do another attack is by looking at the red circle, if you do it correctly then the circle is dark and easy to see
 
I can manage to do the Triumphant Grasp branch-off for his air BRV attack, but I can't manage to do Jecht Blade. Does it have to be set as my O, or would I have to enter the normal command for it as usual?
Also, I can't manage to get him to do Ultimate Jecht Shot from his land BRV attack :(
