I went everywhere in Alexandria and there are no kids playing jump rope. I went to the steeple where the moogle is. Is there a certain point in the game after Alexandria is destroyed that they appear there. I haven't gone to Kuja's secret base yet. Cid just turned into a frog and I went to the black mage village. Am I too early or too late?
 
I couldn't even do 50, but then again it was just so boring after a while I sort of just gave up on it

Yeah, try Kuja's base first then. Take Quina with you to Oellvert, and leave Steiner. Trust me.
 
My highest score is about 22-ish. I never saw the point in that sidegame.
It's about as annoying as the lightning dodging in FFX. What do you get for getting 1000 jumps?

I'm still trying to figure out what's worse...trying to do 1000 jumps in a row or dodging 200 consecutive lightning bolts.

I think I gave up at 53 because irritation got the better of me
 
6 1/2.

I didn't want the petty reward of just getting some card for the Tarrot game so I tried it. Failed. Gave up.
 
From what I remember, I never reached 20 for sure. Don't know the exact number though...
 
First time around in every file I always aim for 200 - which isn't a problem. However for the final reward you need the 1000 jumps... which I only once had the patience for, seeing as its by no means worth getting. :wacky:


In reflection I believe it was around 1020 (or thereabouts) before I fell to the mighty rope.
 
Can't remember my personal best but I know I got the Tiger Racket card from it before and wasn't able to make the 1000 for the 'King of The Jump Ropes' title.
 
I know I never got much more than 20 -_-

I was shit at skipping so I just gave up on it, plus the guide never said what you got for how many skips and I didnt have internetz at the time so I thought sod it :monster:
 
I hated both games equally. If you found the jump rope game so boring, then why did you get to 500 jumps before quitting? xD
 
I hated the race aswel, they just seemed so pointless. I might have actually tried if the stupid guide wasnt so annoyingly vague. I swear it should have been half price for all the info that was in it -_-
