Jurassic Park V: Chaos Effect Backstory/Rules/Bio Submission thread

Backstory:
18 years since the events of The Lost World (though also within canon of JPIII and allowing for the possibility of a Jurassic Park IV having happened, but not publicly known...) all dinosaurs of Site B were supposedly killed off, but entering the Island is still restricted for "precautionary reasons". The original Jurassic Park Island is also off limits while people bicker over if they can control it or not. Enter the Ocean Liner known as "Skyline Industries". Known for their exotic locations, they are headed for waters of an island not far away from both Jurassic Park Islands. However, the massive ocean cruise ship faces unexpected heavy storms and crashes on Site B....only to discover that something has survived...again. And this time, life didn't just find a way, dinosaur hybrids exsist. Anything varying from the dreaded Amargospinus or the deadly Velocipteryx all the way to the nightmarish Ultimasaurs...escape isn't a likely option. Instead you must simply...survive.

Rules:​

1. No instant-kills/godmodding. No world destroyers, etc. you are a regular human being. You may be skilled at one thing or another, but no mary sues please.

2. You may have up to 2 characters, but each character must have a bio made in this thread before they are allowed to post.

3. Modern day is the time period, so please bear in mind you have no futuristic technology unless it is otherwise stated by myself or my vice-head.

4. The head and/or vice head determines rotation order. You don't post out of turn. If you don't post at least once within 24 hours, your turn will be skipped. However, if you beforehand wish to be skipped, please let us know ahead of time so you don't slow down the RP.

6. If you wish, your character's death can be written off as a "near death experience". However, they must skip at least 1 turn.

7. You may not have any blood relation or connection to characters from the movies, books, games, etc. Your knowledge of Jurassic Park and its islands is only what the common public would know of the first three movies (not the books), and in addition the public revelation that "there were dinosaurs on that island and now they were all killed off of that island for public safety."

8. Keep it pg-13(though I myself like all ratings) If any sexual activity take it to PM not here. Also no racism, sexism, bigotry, etc.

9. Minimum post must be 1 five sentence paragraph(no -opens door- or *eats doughnut* story book or novel format,or in short type like a book or essay)

Character

Name: Katarina Chiya

Age: 26

Gender: Female

Height: 5'5

Appearance: She is a rather tall woman, with long black hair reaching down to the length of her shoulders. She wears a long necklace with a bright blue jewel given to her by her boyfriend over 5 years ago. She has a pale skin but of the Asian descent. The clothing that she wears usually consists of dark blue jeans and a light gray t-shirt to cover her body. Her sneakers are white with red stripes which make her nice and agile.

Personality: She has a very well-rounded personality, usually showing happy emotions, but lacking the angry emotions. She treats her friends with a good amount of respect as long as they show her that they can prove themselves. She might be a little bit to trust worthy and in turn can turn things bad for other members of the team.

Skills/hobbies: She trained in the police forces giving her somewhat a use of a gun, She also loves to study animals, in which she tried to apply to be a paleontologist.

Backstory: Growing up in China, life was hard for her, do to laws going around there they were forced to kill her brother and then leave the family to suffer and lose money. At about Age 10 she was able to go to America where she learned how to speak English and go to an ordinary school with American kids. She later found out that her mom had died of a disease that destroyed her lungs. She decided to join the police forces at about age 19 so she has only 6 year of true gun training. At the age of 24 she later attempted to dedicate her life trying to save certain animals from extinction... she also tried to go to collage to study paleontology cause she found that subject interesting.

Height: 6 foot 4

Appearance: muscular build due to former body building hobby, however has a bit of extra body fat since he hasn't worked out in a long while, meaning his health isn't as good as it once was. Blonde hair and blue eyes. blue shirt and black jeans, black combat boots he wears simply because he thinks they look cool.

Personality: kind hearted but somewhat geeky, he become content with who he is as a person and is living a relaxed life-style, so he's typically more laid back when it comes to stress but despite that he's outgoing and talkative. Compassionate towards his friends and very aware of the fact he has a habit of being too forgiving towards enemies, so he's trying to break it.

Skills/hobbies: (no mary sues please):CEO of an animation and comic book company. Took European Fencing and Japanese Kendo lessons as a teenager. Average at survival skills, nothing too exceptional.

Backstory: Kind hearted, he was a geek growing up as a young boy and teenager. However, in high school and as a young adult, he tried to escape from his reputation as a "nerd" by trying to be a jock and was a member of the high school football team. That only lasted a single year and he switched to Fencing lessons and sometime after that Kendo lessons, which he found himself more able to stick with. Sometimes after that he decided to become a body builder and won a few amateur competitions. Finding that he wasn't truly happy with his life however, he sometime after started working his way up in reputation among the voice actor world and eventually started his own company that builded up to become an animation and comic book company, with primarily a superhero theme but also had branches based on fantasy and scifi as well. He's been quite happy with his new job and went on vacation after having become wealthy and content with life. He also has a huge fascination with dinosaurs, adoring them as a child. Then later in life after having now heard about what happened, he wishes that the dinosaurs had been controlled because he would've loved to see them. He just may get his wish now, though he doesn't know what he's in for.

Your thoughts on this RP: (optional): Well jee, I made the RP I wonder what I think of it lol. But in all seriousness, Jurassic Park was a huge part of my childhood and made me very happy as a kid seeing the movies.

Appearance: A blonde haired pale skinned male very wide shoulders ans a slender body. A military cadet on break he dons his military uniform, desert brown. His hair went just above his collarbone in the back but his bangs were at his eyebrows.

Personality: Very dedicated but paranoid at times due to the shell shock he went through. A team player but a bit too cautious around suspicious persons or people he does not recognize. Not a Xenophobe just paranoid about people unfamiliar to him.

Skills/hobbies: basic survival skills and arms usage (most he can handle is a shotgun or smg) (no mary sues please)

Backstory: Raised in a military family he was brought up a soldier, private school, military highschool, camp in the summer and drills afterschool. Growing up he was molded into the attentive, righteous soldier, no drugs, drinking no impurities. Sent to war he suffered and survived a flash grnade at point blank range followed by gunfire. this scarred him and got him addicted to painkillers. He was sent on a cruise to relieve himself of the trauma and stress.
