I know this isn't really a question so you don't need to reply. Anyway, i've been reading alot of posts about FFX and i'd just like to say that the name of the music playing in the background of the battle against Jacht is called original sin OR otherworld by german metal band Rammstein. I hope this helps. :)

he's right about the german metal band rammstein part but i thought the song was called "otherworld"
 
I'm not possitive it's called original sin but that's what I downloaded it as. Thanx 4 the update grey_fox. :)
 
I thought that song was called Otherworld and had been redone by another band for the English version of the game? Rammstein is a German band and therefore doesn't sing in English and this song is clearly sung in English in the game.
 
That's interesting I hadn't ever heard that before. I have heard the Rammstein thing but I heard from a friend who just makes stuff up so I didn't believe him.
 
Rammstein can sing in English....they have a huge fan base in germany though so they choose to sing in German.
 
I'm agreeing with Lady Aerith here and saying that you mean Otherworld. It's the song that they play in the intro FMV when Tidus is playing the game with the Zanarakand Abes vs. The Duggles. It's also the music that is looped during the battle with Braska's Final Aeon.

If that's the song you are asking about, the song title is indeed "Otherworld" and it is by the "Black Mages".
 
Yeah, I've got it on CD and on my iPod and love it to death! I swear, when me and Aztec Triogal went to go pick up my copy of FFXII on the day it released, we listened to Otherworld all the way there because of how psyched over this game we've been for the last 4 years.

The song really gets your blood pumping. Hell we even have it playing during Fight Night ROund 3 when we got the Xbox360 up and running. It's just an adrenaline-driving kinda song I guess.
 
No way is it by Rammstein. The guys who sing it are a Swedish/Norwegian group if memory serves me right.

Not the Black Mages, they've only covered it.
 
Contrary to popular belief, Rammstein did NOT perform Otherworld for FFX, and neither did The Black Mages.

Otherworld was performed by Bill "xtillidiex" Muir, a band from Japan.
True story. ;)
 
I thought 'Otherworld' was the song from the very start of the game, when Auron is on the rooftops and Sin attacks the Dreamworld.

I could be wrong, though. It's been a while since I've played FFX.

If anyone has a link to download all of the songs, I'd really appreciate it.
 
Does no one remember the FFX games at all? There's no "German" music in a Japanese based game. Hell, it's all created by Square-Enix for specific use.

I love how you all guys think it was Rammstein when in reality Nobuo Uematsu does most, if not all music for FF. Search it if you don't believe me.

Yea, seriously, though. Nobuo Uematsu does most music. It is pretty much common knowledge when you search for the sound tracks. I am not the biggest fan whatsoever. xD.
