Alright well, I've played the game since forever ago, and I don't remember much about the small details...but, I was watching Yuna and Seymour's wedding ceremony on youtube and the thought just hit me: Yuna was married to Seymour and although the marriage wasn't consummated, she still made out with Tidus on the water. ^_^

So, is that like...cheating? Ahaha, weird question, I know. It's late and my mind works in a weird way around this time. Well anyway, I could care less if it was cheating or not...she loves Tidus and that's all that matters. I'm glad she didn't end up with freaky Seymour, much less co- ... oh, nevermind. :P
 
She shoulda went with Seymour and left Rikku and Tidus to be.:p

Seymour's dead. I don't think a marriage to a dead person is valid anywhere, even in Spira, but who knows. I think that even though they kissed and were announced man and wife, under circumstances of Seymour being of the dead, the marriage is null and void.

Nice question. I've brought this up before on forums and it's amazing what people reply with sometimes.
 
Oh! So Seymour died before Yuna and Tidus kissed. See, I don't even remember that. But now I do recall. >.< Thanks!

hmmmm, anyone thought that maybe Rikku should have gone with Tidus, i mean if you build the character relation hight enough with rikku, some of the none FMV scenes don't seems to fit, you know what i mean

For example, on the ice skies, with Rikku and Tidus, it seems that Rikku was falling for Tidus, though tidus was too dumb to notice...

*sigh*

and another, after the spring scene when they kiss, if the character realtion is high enough, Rikku goes up to Tidus looking all, well desperate, and Tidus just turns her down, by walking past her, while putting a hand on her shoulder... just a thought by the way

LOL She cheated on Seymore before he was dead.
That's probably what drove him over the edge and made him want to kill her. Ahahahaha. XD
 
He's Dead....so marrying a dead person isn't really in the legal papers....even if there still walking around xD. That would mean that yuna is a necrophiliac xD.

I'm not sure about the Rikku and Tidus thing. I never really noticed that Rikku had a thing for him. But well, like I said...it's been years since I played this game. My memory isn't that great.

I see your point here and I thought that Yuna was cheating on him. But he's technically dead and I don't think that the marriage was official to be honest. I think it was just a fake marriage to cheer the rest of Spira up from Sin destroying their homes and killing their families.

I'm actually glad Yuna made out with Tidus in the water. Who would actually want to MARRY a freak like Seymour?
 
i think if she did cheat which she didnt but if she did.....GO GIRL!!! ran away far far away wih your man!!
 
Personally, I think the whole "cheating" thing is a point-of-view matter. Some widows never even think about getting with anyone else, because they'd feel it was cheating. Others would move on and assume that their deceased partner would want that. In any event, this is a fantasy world we're talking about. To me, if Mika, the leader of Yevon, can legally have so much power whilst being dead, then it doesn't strike me as beyond the realms of possibility for a dead person to legally marry someone either. Sure, presumably no one knows Mika's dead, but who would know Seymour is, too?

Anyway, with the topic branching off to the Rikku-Tidus thing, I want to branch onto something else, too. I've been wondering something, and maybe someone can share their thoughts, or maybe it's been discussed elsewhere and someone can update me. As the group are jumping off the airship to battle Sin, Lulu says to Tidus: "Let's fight Sin together. Just you and me"...or something along those lines. But definitely the "Just you and me" part, which is what I'm focusing on. Does it mean she has feelings for him? That's how it sounds to me. Any thoughts?

Um, are you sure Lulu wasn't looking at Wakka or something? Maybe Tidus was beside Wakka at the time and perhaps your eyes deceived you? :P I don't know!!! I cannot really think right now. I don't even remember that part, to be honest. Sounds familiar though.

Lulu was in love with Wakka. X-2 can confirm that...along with her big tummy.
^_^ Ahem, anyway...I really doubt Lulu was in love with Zidane. Lulu was too mature for him, ya'know? IMO!

Well, I'm just working off of memory here (and you know how much that sucks) but even if Wakka is on the screen too, which I can't quite remember for sure, I'm almost certain she clearly walks up to Tidus and says it. And sure, there's the events of X-2, but who knows what happened between the events of X and X-2? If she just had a crush on Tidus, then I'd say she had plenty of time to get over him by the events of X-2. I don't know...I just can't think of any other reason why she would specifically say to Tidus, "Just you and me".

No, not really because they never...you know..."did it" LOL but she did cheat on Seymour by kissing Tidus but you could say the same for Tidus really because didn't he like Rikku before he even met Yuna? Wait...that means he cheated on himself? LOL I confused myself :blink:

Can we even confirm that Tidus liked Rikku? *Shrugs* I'm not convinced he did. Not in a romantic way, at least. Still, even if he did, they weren't an item, so it wouldn't have been cheating.
