Just a thought...

Well, I'm just working off of memory here (and you know how much that sucks) but even if Wakka is on the screen too, which I can't quite remember for sure, I'm almost certain she clearly walks up to Tidus and says it. And sure, there's the events of X-2, but who knows what happened between the events of X and X-2? If she just had a crush on Tidus, then I'd say she had plenty of time to get over him by the events of X-2. I don't know...I just can't think of any other reason why she would specifically say to Tidus, "Just you and me".

You're being too logical, lol. Lulu got confused, IMO. I really think that was supposed to be Yuna's line and um, the staff of SE probably messed things up. Because it just doesn't make sense that Lulu would say that to him. o_O

And Zurh Tutt, Tidus wasn't cheating on Yuna, Rikku, or even himself. lol. Yuna wasn't cheating on Tidus either. Granted, she likes Tidus even before she got married to Seymour...and then he died, and that's when Yuna and Tidus kissed. So no, it wasn't cheating.

I made it sound like Yuna and Tidus waited for Seymour's death in order to kiss. o_O

Lol, come on. You don't seriously believe it's just an error, do you? I could understand it being an error if the caption said the line came from Yuna but it was Lulu who spoke the line, or if the caption said that Lulu said it even though the voice was Yuna's. But to have them both wrong? That's quite a big error, even for a video game like Final Fantasy.

So...this Lulu/Tidus thing. I'm playing FF X right now and I just, this very minute, saw that scene. They're in the airship, and they're all about to go face Sin head-on (after defeating the three cores). Tidus says "Let's Blitz" and Lulu says "Let's go. Just you and me". She clearly says it to Tidus, and Yuna's in the background, so it's not really going to be a mistake. Wakka's sort of behind Lulu, so it's not like there was any way she was saying it to him, either. Tidus, in response, just scratches his head, as though he's confused.

Lol really? Then I guess Lulu secretly has a crush on him. o_O

Ahh, who knows? I don't think it's really that important. I mean, it could mean anything. Like maybe just friendship?

True, but she's friends with all the others, too. Why single Tidus out? Anyway, I'm not saying it was important. It was just something I kinda picked up on. I wondered whether anyone else had noticed or not. If it was important, I'm sure it would've been less-subtle. But still, I'm thinking, at least at that point, she had crush on him.

Fine, she had a crush on him. -_-

Lol, we're swaying from our original topic here! >.<

She can't have cheated on Seymour,
Seymour is dead.

You can't marry the dead, plus it's not like she wanted to kiss him, I mean he sorta went in for the kiss and she clearly didn't enjoy it with the whole clenching of her fist.

It was a forced marriage, but still a marriage nonetheless. As for what Seymour was at the time of the marriage, just because that would prevent it from being a legal marriage here, doesn't mean the same would apply in Spira. It's a whole different world. We don't know enough about Spira and it's laws to assume it wouldn't still be a legal marriage.

You're talking about Yuna and Seymour's kiss, right? (Because I don't remember Yuna clenching her fist while kissing Tidus, lol) Yeah, she was pretty grossed out about it. I loved the part when she wiped her mouth, really showing him and the audience how much his kiss sucked! Pfft, that's something I would do too if I was in her case.

Haha yeah that kiss.

I don't think it was cheating, it was cheating if she enjoyed said kiss, which obviously she didn't and I laughed when she did that, talk about kicking Seymours ego in the crotch

It wasn't Tidus she was cheating on, it was Seymour. So what you said applies to whether or not she enjoyed the kiss with Tidus, which she clearly did. Technically, the fact that she even kissed another man whilst in marriage is grounds for cheating, even if she didn't want to be married to Seymour.

Yeah, I really don't see how it matters whether he was dead or not. If he can get married while he's dead, then surely he can be cheated on while he's dead.

Heh, yea but why is that a big deal. If she's in love with Tidus does it matter whether she cheats or not? Granted that is the subject at hand, a hypothetical about whether or not she cheated, but I don't think it matters whether or not she was married or not. If she loves Tidus, go with Tidus. What was she going to say "Sorry Tidus, I really have feelings for you but I technically am married. Why don't we just be friends?" lol I mean that would have completely ruined what turned out to be a wonderful romance story. I guess that'd be her choice though.

Oh yea, I definitely agree with that. lol As you said, whether or not he was dead is kind of a moot point because he was able to act and function as though he was alive.

He's Dead....so marrying a dead person isn't really in the legal papers....even if there still walking around xD. That would mean that yuna is a necrophiliac xD.

Hahahahahaha.

Let's not forget that Tidus was a ghost as well (dead or dream of the fayth). So, I guess that makes Yuna a habitual necrophiliac Lol... Well at least SE was consistent.

Back on topic now...

Hmm... It's been several years since I played it as well mitsuki, but I don't remember her saying "I do"... Did she? (If that even applies in Spira). Guess I'll have to go to Luca Theater and watch it again sometime. Ah well, the only important thing I cared about is in the end regardless of everything including the fact of knowing she may die and
become sin
, she still followed her heart.

If marrage is 'until death do us part' and Seymore was already dead does this apply. I also don't remember Yuna actually saying the words 'I do'.
