Crisis Core Kadaj's True Identity?? Major Major Spoliers!!

As someone that will not tolerate subpar game mechanics just to gain additional story (i.e. I did NOT play DoC), my friends and I all assumed that Genesis became Kadaj.

The only other place people are referred to as brother outside of DoC is Advent Children, they are of similar stature, hair length, and Genesis had a lust for S-cells. As well as talking about his return.

I accept that you guys are right about him not being Kadaj (the evidence appears infallible), but as a non-DoCer it's very easy to make this assumption.

Just to respond to people who think it was a ridiculous conclusion to come to...

This would make sense but, at the end of DoC, in a secret movie you receive for completing the game, you see Genisis, come to a cave and pick Weiss up and Use a Wing to fly away, and we watch Kadaj die in AC, so it's impossible for Genisis to be Kadaj.

Though it would make sense Genisis looks like Kadaj, sounds like him and everything.

Right after you defeat Genesis once and for all, you get a cutscene. Near the end after Zack leaves a Helicopter comes and picks up Genesis. Two people speak of making Genesis their new brother (that's what i'm almost sure they are saying because they aren't being very direct). When the two of them come out of the helicopter they are dressed in 1st class soldier uniforms and most importantly both have white/silver hair and extremely pale skin, similar to the features of Loz, Yazoo and Kadaj. Now they speak of making genesis their older brother and i'm not sure but I think Kadaj plays that role in AC, so i'm speculating that the two we see in this particular cutscene are Yazoo and Loz. When I was playing the english version, I wasn't sure because their voices sounded a little off from those in AC, (AC voice actors are the same in CC) but then I realized that i've only seen the Subbed version of AC, so I went to Youtube to watch the Jap version of this scene and the voice are exactly the same so..... is it possible that Genesis was made into Kadaj somehow??

I thought the same thing too when I saw it! MMMM...there has to be a story behind it right? That scene at the end there really lets you hanging! I think you are right about what you said though, but doesen't Loz, Yazoo and Kadaj appear AFTER FF7 THE GAME? Crisis Core is suppose to be BEFORE FF7. I thought that when you defeated Sephiroth in FF7 then came Advent Children with Kadaj,Yazoo and Loz. So the BIG QUESTION IS: WHAT WERE THOSE 3 GUYS DOING THE WHOLE FF7 GAME TIME? I thought they were remnants of Sephiroth after FF&, not before? What's going on here?
 
Kadaj, Loz, and Yazoo are all Shinentai of Sephiroth, fragmented manifestations of his spirit. They did not exist until shortly before AC, and certainly not before Sephiroth's death.

Moreover, none of them resemble Genesis, Weiss, or Nero.
 
really i think its just a case of the entire compilation of FFVII must be gathered into one sitting and played/watched right through to find that it is not Genesis who turns into Kadaj, it is Sephiroth who turns into Kadaj somewheres after FFVII. Then in watching all this we will find that Kadaj turns into Sephiroth again after absorbing Jenova cells and Sephiroth turns back into Kadaj who then dies, and being that Genesis is indeed in DoC it is infact IMPOSSIBLE for Genesis to be Kadaj...
 
Kadaj doesn't have anything to do with Genesis. Being that Weiss and Nero refer to Genesis as their brother (as do Loz, Yazoo, and Kadaj to each other), Dreamer seemed to have thought that Genesis was converted into Kadaj or some such.

it crossed my head that genisis was kadaj brother until someone told me about the DoC secret ending.

Coul Genisis be in another FF7 Spin off? We just gotta wait.
 
Well, it's already been disproved, since Kadaj was destroyed and Genesis makes another appearance, but you did an incredible amount of thinking and I personally think you just made a BETTER storyline than the actual one!:holyshit: I think it would've been cooler if this happened than what actually did, Congratulations!

A lot of people fell into this line of thinking for whatever reason, the world would be a better place if more fans had read the Reunion Files and played Dirge.

In any case I'm interested to see future interactions of Weiss and Genesis, as Weiss is one of my favorite characters in the compilation.
 
I think Kadaj,Loz, and Yazoo are all Sephiroth's memories of Angeal and Genesis.Kadaj is Sephiroth's memory of himself, Yazoo is his memory of Genesis, and Loz is his memory of Angeal ( Notice in the move that Angeal has that same side burn as Loz in AC). Also I think that those two people werent Yazoo and LOz because in DOC

i could see that those two in 1st class uniforms arent kodaj and his gang because in ac they arent warin first class uniforms if u pay attentiuon
 
Those are Weiss and Nero, and to back up what I said, you see in the credit, Weiss and Nero's Voice actors. >.>
 
weiss and nero are from Deepground Corp. they all are brothers and they want Genesis to be in it too... if you read the credits at the end of Crisis core and see the Voice Actors some are Weiss and Nero, PLAY FF7: DoC :)
 
Let's try not to derail the topic please. Let's keep in mind the original post regarding 'Kadaj's true identity'

From what I've seen of FF7ACC Kadaj was made in the nortern crator as a Sephiroth clone. Along with Loz and Yazoo. So They wern't even there yet in FFcc or FF7. They were created not born.

This.

The SHM are remnants of Sephiroth's will, they did not and could exist in any form until after Sephiroth was defeated at the end of FF VII. Kadaj and Genesis are two separate entities, and Genesis was picked up by Weiss and Nero, not Loz and Yazoo.
