Ke$ha

I think she's average with all the other hip hop artists. Her Tik Tok was Ok until I was sick of hearing it a lot. T'was played on the radio a lot. Blah Blah Blah I cannot even stand. -__- I think it's because it's too girly and cheesy for me.

she annoys me. and she is trying to stay relevent by starting fights with other artists.i turn the radio off when she comes on.

I'm guess I'm one of her fans, then. I love her music, and while I don't consider it to be high art or anything, I like it. It's addictive. I listen to Animal every day, but only the first half. The second half pretty much sucks.

So, she's not my all time favorite. That's Madonna or Jade Valerie, but I do like her alot.

And starting fights with other artists is part of the game that is music these days, isn't it?

I like some of her songs, I like Blah Blah Blah and Tik Tok - the two of them are the only things we play in my friend's car cause the rest of her music is terrible (Jedward. Justin Beiber. Boyzone. I rest my case)

I thought her album was sorta weak though, the uptempo songs were fantastic, but the slower songs were really really awful. I think she'd be atrocious live too >_>

I LOVE KE$HA SOOOO MUCH!!
I LOVE BLAH BLAH BLAH AND TIK TOK, I LISSON TO IT 1000 TIMES A DAY!
but shes going to get boring soon cuz tik tok is like her only hood osng and it is so repetetive so im pretty sure she is just going to be a one hit wonder.

I like Ke$ha's album: Animal, and I have downloaded it. I didn't buy it because I wasn't particularly amazed by her first single Tik Tok. My favourite songs by her are: Your Love Is My Drug and Take It Off. I don't like her reputation of being a drunken so and so, but it may be in her contract. I do like Ke$ha though, not matter how immature it is to have a dollar sign in your name... I agree with the above poster that she may just be a one hit wonder and fail to impress on her second album, but I wish her the best of luck, as I do like some of her hits!

I have a plan to get rich. One day Ke$ha will probably decide to grow up and she will start calling herself just "Kesha". I plan to trademark the name "Kesha" so I can then sue the shit out of her for intellectual theft.

As for her music, it's the same old shit really. She'll probably be forgotten in a few years.

Agreed. I think right now the reason she's gotten so much attention is because she's capitalized on the media's attraction to would-be eccentrics who do really catchy pop music (You think people refer to her as "Baby Gaga" for nothing? :p)

The key difference between the two is that I think Gaga's managed to put herself on another level (don't ask me to describe it any better than that) whereas Ke$ha's stuff feels more Britney-esque in nature.

I actually really like Your Love Is My Drug. It's genuinely surprising and I probably find myself liking it more than the likes of TiK ToK and Blah Blah Blah.

^^ I like Stephen quite a bit myself. Much better than any of the singles.

And she's no higher or lower than Gaga. Someone who talks about their "muffin" isn't on a very level herself. At least not in my sense of the world. Now does putting sparklers on your bra or duck tape on your nipples.

Honestly, after typing that, I find it hard to believe that Ke$ha is the more mature one myself. I mean all she has is a $.

I like her. Tik Tok is one of my favorite upbeat songs ever. Also, I like plenty other songs she's made, though I'm not sure of the titles. Either way, Tik Tok is definitely my favorite song of hers. It's always easy to get down to that song. I look forward to listening to more of her songs in the future.

I really don't like her. She's too trampy and she looks like she's sticky and smells bad. -_- I don't like the music because a.) It is very generic, and b.) She can't sing.

I almost never listen to any new music anymore because it all pretty much follows the exact same formula. :( All these "RnB artists" sound so much alike that you can't tell one from the other. And that's pretty much the case with pop "singers", Kesha included. She's nothing new; just a fresh face for a long-running "winning" formula. I wonder whether they just pick these girls up off the street simply because they're happy to flaunt themselves all over the media. There's nothing new about her, and there definitely isn't any talent. :mokken:
