Yoda knows Electric Judgement which is alittle different if not similar to Force Lightning :S... And No yoda didnt use it... That was him stoping Palpatines Force Lighting. Luke Skywalker and Plo Koon have been know to use it though. So therefore Yoda did not ignore any of the rulings :S

And i think that only a few powers if not none should be used by both sides... seeing as jedi are peace loving so they use for protection, and to increase physical and mental capacity. Sith use it to kill >.>.. This is what Nihilus said not too long ago.

in the few movies the sith did some jedi abilitys and vise-versa it was rare but it did happen

I'm probably one of the only people out there that couldn't really get into this series. I played it for about 10 minutes and then basically said, "what the hell?"

I didn't like the controls at all...they were really awkward for me...just really unusual. I find that with a lot of shooters too.

Then I went and played another game.
 
umm this is a club topic not a game discussion one and about the abilities i don't think there is an electric jedi ability since it don't pop up in any game at all.

oh now i understand this is why the sith refrain from using the light side abilities.
Manipulating the Force is not without risks, however. When a person uses the Force beyond their body's ability to sustain it, the individual could suffer physical damage, accelerated aging, or in the most extreme case, certain death by burning their own body cells from the inside out. Luke Skywalker, Jacen Solo, Palpatine, and Dorsk 81 are prime examples of excessive Force usage and the consequences.
using the oppisite sides abilities is harder to control then nutral or same so a dark jedi could harm him/herself by using the others abilities.

And just because it wasnt used in the movies or a game doesnt mean that it wasnt in expanded universe... much you need to learn still it seems ^^ And it seems from one of the pictures on that link that Plo Koon did use it in a game..

the welcome place and that is it there propley are more i just don't know where they are

oh kit since i have found the reason why they don't use the other ones abilities can we place them into our characters because they can be done it is just harder to do.
 
From what I can even read from your above post... I'd have to disagree with the ability to add Force powers from both sides into a singular person's skill set. It's simply not fair - regardless of how weak you think the effect will be on the target.

saix the rp is up to kit on what is allowed or not and the reason i gave is more then enough reason to allow them but only if when they use it they post the side effects along with it

True, Yoda could deflect Force Lighning. But he himself did not use it. As Gab stated, it was used in defence only. Which reminds me, I keep putting off my bio.

Yoda knew the Dark Side. But refused to use it. He believed that allowing the powers of the Dark Side to possess you wil lead you toward the path of the Dark Side.

... I never said that Yoda used it or atleast i didnt mean it like that. Yoda may know ELECTRIC JUDGEMENT seeing as he is a jedi master but nobody knows. I hate to keep repeating myself >.>

YOU CAN NOT USE THE OTHER SIDES POWER. IF YOUR JEDI, YOU USE JEDI POWERS. IF YOUR SITH, YOU USE SITH POWERS. IF YOU NEED HELP TO FIND SOME SEARCH ON GOOGLE: FORCE POWERS. THEN YOU WILL SEE WOOKIEEPEDIA AND CLICK ON IT. YOU WILL FIND A GIANT LIST OF FORCE POWERS. PLAIN AND SIMPLE.
I HAVE ALOT OF FORCE POWERS SEEING AS I AM A JEDI GRAND MASTER. YOU CANNOT USE AS MANY AS ME IF YOUR LOWER THEN ME. YOU MUST YOU AN AMOUNT THAT SEEMS FAIR FOR YOUR RANKING.

I used Force Lightning cause i was too lazy to change it to Electric Judgement... If its a big deal then ill change it. If you find any powers of mine that youd like to use then feel free to use it.

Oh no Koloth im not upset with you whatso ever. I just can believe people are still really confused. Perhaps i should make a guideline or something. When im not busy. so ya.. im definitly not mad just saying.

Sure you can ^^ and ill add you to the sith right away xD. We talk about pretty much anything in Star Wars. So you like Mandalorians eh? VengefulRonins a fan too. I actually just bought 3 new books that are a series called Star Wars Republic Commando: Hard Contact, Triple Zero, and True Colours. Hard Contact is what im currently reading and i think its a great book. Its got some Mandalorians in it.

Anyways basically just so you know we are going to start an RP soon about Star Wars so if you can get a RP character up that be great. If you dont know how to RP you can always learn from someone here.

hah ya it was impossible to find Hard Contact here until it happend to be in the store when i was passin by.
