Multiple Platforms KOEI Games

Edit: There's Warriors Orochi 2? :gasp:

*Character's Spoilers*

Warriors Orochi 2 is ten times better than WO1, its has some VS Modes, including, Steeple (Horse) Race. :P

You also have much more historical characters such as Taigong Wang, Fu Xi, Nu Wa, Yoshitsune Minamoto, Kiyomori Taira, Himiko and Sun Wukong. Also some characters from SW2XL; Gracia (Mitsuhide Akechi's daughter), Toshiie Maeda, Kojiro Sasaki, Katsuie Shibata, Motochika Chosokabe and Yoshimoto Imagawa. And of course all the characters from WO1 and some 3 other characters, two of each are only playable on VS mode and the other is a Major Spoiler. :neomon:

My main team was usually:

Lu Bu
Taigong Wang
Sun Wukong

But I used various characters such as Orochi, Fu Xi, Nu Wa, Nobunaga, Musashi, Tadakatsu Honda, Keiji Maeda, Yoshitsune, Zuo Ci, etc...

I got it on Sunday, it is really way better, I liked it and the horse is actually faster than my character when my character has full speed. xD this the only thing I didn't like in the previous games that I sometimes beat the horse while running. :\

Yeah, Impulse Maxed + Speed X2 you could match Red Hare/Matsukaze's Speed.

I just don't liked the fact, you get +5 Cavalier capped in WO2 and you don't get a faster Red Hare/Matsukaze after reaching +10. Neither any special horse was added.

Worst of all is proficiency, wait until you want to unlock Dream Stage 27.

I haven't unlocked yet, I beated everything else except that and stop playing, but now i'm aiming to get that stage opened sooner or later.

Which Orochi do you think was stronger and had a hard time beating him?In WO1 or WO2?
Is there anyone who hated Da Ji?(i didn't but I hated fighting as her, some times her moves were uncontrollable)

I'd say Orochi in WO1, the first time I challenged him was on Hard Mode as expected I didn't knew his moveset, out of nowhere he pulled his unblockable C1, I had low health he 1-hit KO'ed me. In WO2 I already knew everything about Orochi and with more powerful warriors he didn't stand a chance.

What about you?

I liked Da Ji, her personality was great, in WO2 its even better. Her moveset was/is a little complicated, specially her C5 where she dances pretty fast. But I never had a problem with. I usually used her C1/R1 to deal massive damage to Generals and C5 for clearing crowds.

I still haven't got Orochi X on WO2, I have somewhere near 2000 Proficiency. Its tedious raising Proficiency to 50 with 55 characters...

I thought Orochi in the first installment was a bit more difficult to overcome compare to the second installment since they seemed to have toned down on the amount of damage you recieve from the enemies even on Chaos mode which is why he was easy in Warriors Orochi 2.

To be quite honesty, I never cared for Da Ji in the first installment due to elf on ice skate moveset lol. She was a bit hard to control since she glides a lot across the battlefield and always went in one direction. I started to enjoy her more in WO2 since I have Almighty on her along with all my other characters. She became much more fun and quicker to use.

As far as the newer characters they added, my favorite was none other then Sun Wukong. He just made the battles go quicker since I was able to glide across the map without getting hit plus his R1 attack is funny since they produce little Wukong monkeys to run around attacking the enemy. His R1+directional attack is pretty cool because he transform into a giant ape and stomps around the ground.

Who is everyone's favorite and least favorite characters from Dynasty and Samurai Warriors? and why? I'll list mine later since I said a lot already lol.

I've changed the title of this thread at the request of someone via a Personal Message - I am not familiar with KOEI games nor the discussions in this thread, so I'm not 100% certain of how appropriate this title is. I have no problem with changing it again if someone has a more appropriate suggestion. xD

[Title Changed] to KOEI Games.

I am picking up this topic again in hopes that people that did reply to this topic has interest in it again to reply. Right, Ruka?

Anyways as far as my favorites go. I will just list them and why I like them.

Dynasty Warriors
Sun Quan (appearance, voice, and background)
Sun Ce (appearance, voice, personality, tonfa moveset, and background)
DW6 Sun Jian (appearance, voice, and moveset)
DW5 Liu Bei (moustache, voice, and personality)
DW5 SSX (voice, personality, and background)
Zhang He (Personality, voice, and sense of style)
Dong Zhuo (voice, Awakening form, and being a comic relief)
Zhuge Liang (voice, musou attacks, and personality)

Samurai Warriors
Motochika (appearance, voice, weapon, and personality)
Magoichi (personality, background, and voice)
Sakon Shima (SW2 voice, personality, and moveset)

As far as least favorites go, they are the following.

Dynasty Warriors
Xing Cai: This girl has no personality and her voice is beyond annoying. What makes it worse, is that she has a crappy moveset and weapon.
Meng Huo: Fat, slow, ugly, and horrible moveset. Zhu Rong could do better than this.
Huang Gai: His bombs are annoying. The day he steps on his own bomb and blows his own foot off is the day I throw a party.
Xiahou Yuan: Hairy bellies are a turn-off and no one should have to see that, especially little children.
Pang De: If he wasn't wearing all that armor on him, he wouldn't be so slow moving on the battlefied.

Samurai Warriors
Yoshimoto Imagawa: This dude creeps me out. I hate his moveset, voice, and face.
Noh: This has nothing to do with her personality because I thought her personality fitted her perfectly but I was never really fond of her moveset or musou + true musou at all which was one of the reason I never cared for her in this game to begin with.

So what about everyone else?

I only like playing dynasty warrior games since there awesome and well I like dynasty warriors 3 the best good music in it some of it from dynasty warriors 2 though. They did a good job with Warriors Orochi that game provided endless hours of gameplay.
