Personaly I think Kefka is the best villian along with Sephiroth they have a certain somethiing....Kefka is just bucknutty and PSYCHO and Sephiroth is well Perfect ;)
While I personaly like pretty things,Kuja, I just dont think he was that magnificent of a villian

Kuja huh?
A bit of a girly man but he had some awesome power in and our of trance mode!
plus he got around a silver Dragon not bad other than than all the drama and narcissism got on my nerves to much of a reflection of myself.

The pursuit of kuja is something i remember but not fondly just indifferent.

I agree. I voted 'Yes' but I don't think he is my favourite main villain of the series.

He's a good character and I think his motives were better than some other main villains from before.

If it wasn't for his damn appearance...
:kuja:

P.S: Just completed FFIX for the first time since It came out :D I can now truly appreciate what a great game it is.
10/10

I put not bothered about him........why?

Because really he isn't that bad until the end............I think he's a bit like Sephiroth at the start.........because all he wants to do is kill kill kill......but right at the end just before he dies.........he is alright he regrets his actions............But since he die,I guess death was his punishment for all the killing.

In other words..............He is a bit of Kefka, along with a bit of Sephiroth...........He's got evilness in him along with super-power!

Sorry for putting no, but I have reasons to put that down.

1. The destroying the world business- Sorry, Kefka was the only SUCCESSFUL one to pull it off. That and he was just plain out destructive. Kuja, though he did put forth the effort, didn't get the complex of "Destroying the World" until after Garland's unification plain blew up in his face.

2. Manipulation- Kuja is third in that department. The Emperor (Even in Dissidia) and Golbez were better at that. Golbez stayed in the cut and did Cecil injustice up until the very end. The Emperor just had that gift of Manipulating others. Kuja just took a page out of Emperor's book.

3. Fashion- The thong didn't help matters none when I to finally face him. Trance didn't do him justice either. Too many bosses abuse the Ultima/Flare combos nowadays.

4. I didn't know who the hell he was until after Disc two. A good note, but that's not enough to vote yes.

A complete freakshow, that's what he is. Just another typical "I will destroy everything" villain. Sephiroth and Kefka had a particular villain style that caught your attention and made you appreciate. I don't really care for Kuja.

Kuja has more believable reasons for villainy than either of those two. And is a more developed character. What threw people off is his appearance. How does this not happen with Kefka?

I thought Garland was way cooler than Kuja, or maybe it's just his theme music.. I dunno, but Kuja wasn't as 'crazy' as people pump him up to be. Sephiroth was crazy, Kefka was demented, and Kuja was.. darkly enlightened? << oxymoron. sweet.

I liked Kuja because he brought something new to the whole I want to destroy everything rationality. Sephiroth believed it was his destiny, and Kefka was insane with power. Kuja's line of reasoning was like 'this world doesn't deserve to exist without me'. And I liked that new line of thought from a villain

Kuja is one of the 'cool' villains for me. That is the reason why I like him. Kefka on the other hand is not cool at all, but he is a great villain because of how insane and crazy he is (reminds me of Joker from Batman). Sephiroth would be a bit in between for me, although closer to Kuja perhaps.

Kuja is my all time favourite villain as FF9 is my all time favourite game. His theme tune sounds a bit like we will rock you, he doesn't only ride a dragon but he stands on it mid flight, cmon even the mighty sephiroth couldnt do that lol. I also like the way he goes off in a tangent whenever he gets a chance on screen like a classic Dr Who villain. I have grievance with Kuja though and thats his fookin Desert Palace, man that place annoys me.

Kuja's one of my favourite villians, and one of my favourite FF characters to date.
I like the whole mystery behind who he is at first, and then eventually when he
finds out that he too has a limited lifespan
.

He's a bit oddly dressed, yes, but I rather like his design. It shows that he's not of that world. (Well, kind of. They're all oddly dressed in IX.)
I think one of my main reasons for liking him is that I like characters who are oddly amusing even in the most sinister of their deeds, like him calling Brahne the Elephant Lady. I found it rather amusing.
Another of my reasons would simply be I like mages.

I find his story one of the better parts of the game, and how it ties to Zidane too. I think he's executed rather well and I was quite sad when
he died
. That in itself brought out more character in Zidane and himself moreso though, you finally see the side you've never seen. It's kind of touching.

kuja was great but he isn't the best.

Mod Edit: Please try and put a bit more effort into your posts please. Tell us why you like or dislike this character. Thanks. :)

Probably one of the best villians FF has to offer. I remember having the hots for him the moment I saw him, and when my mom saw him for the first time, she thought he was a woman because of his signature man thong. It's also fun fighting him in Dissidia, but if I had to rate from 1 to 10 on how good of an adversary he really is, I'd pick 8. Mainly because his intentions are just like any other main FF enemy it seems.

I thought Kuja was rather interesting... I know he gets a lot of scorn because of the way he dresses, but I think that just added to his awkward uniqueness as a character.

I thought he had a lot of depth, especially for a bad guy and especially considering past bad guys in past FF's which had barely any background past they're evil or the void or something to that effect.

I'm not sure if he was the best, but he's one of my personal favorites.

Kuja is a great villain I think he is really twisted and poetic that's why I like him, he is my second favorite villain from the Final Fantasy series but Sephiroth will always be number 1

Kuja seemed like a pretty boy douche, i enjoy destroying him on Dissidia

Well, he always acts so sure of himself and yea that can be a common trait but add that to his feminine looks and cowardly like personality, he has plenty of chances to fight in IX but he always runs and leave it to his "soldiers". Surely if you were planning some master plan and a specific group of people keep showing up and bothering you and your soldiers had failed previously, you'd take care of business yourself instead of running off and sending more men out weakening your forces

Man, I really hate Kuja i dont actually know what it is it think its his clothing:)
Also I don't think he's a great villian, but thats just my opinion. I feel Square enix tried to make another Kefka or something.
