Burst Angel

I just finished watching all the episode's and I really like it, the story is great and the fight scene's are brilliant it's got everything I like in a anime. The music during the fight scene's give it a nice touch too.
 
Record of Lodoss war.

It's actually pretty good for an older anime. I have a lot of them of VHS, and I tend to prefer the more old school style of Anime (No huge eyes/heads/ect).
 
The premiere episode of Star Driver.

If anybody is looking for a mecha fix. You know, something to get your mind off of Gundum and/or Code GeAss, then you should definitely check this out. the main character is voiced by the Japanese Voice Actor who does the jap voices of the following

-Riku from Kingdom Hearts
-Kiba from Wolf Rain
-Light from Death Note

So, yes indeed this will be a great anime, and I reccemend it 1000%.
 
I just finished watching Darker Than Black. I really loved it, and I wish were were getting a third season, but I guess they finished telling the story they had set out to tell. Still, I have so many questions XD
 
The last Anime i watched was Naruto which to be honest i watched quite a while back. When i first started watching Naruto i was getting so into it until i finished the whole 220 episodes for Naruto, then i had to wait 2 years! for shippuden and from their I've started watching Naruto a lot less now, not a big fan of it anymore.
 
Shippuden isnt really that bad its gotten a bit more serious since the old series but i like it.
Ichiban ushiro no daimaou i kinda loved this anime so much i used the main character as my avatar. Sai akuto demon lord
and i just LOVE peterhausen!
 
The last anime i watched was Gintama by sunrise and it was the final episode before the hiatus. It focuses mainly on comedy and action and with 200+ episodes every one of them is as great as the last. I'm not sure weather it's came over west yet but i know it's been big in japan for awhile. If you're not sure head over to crunchyroll and watch the first 5 episodes, i guarantee you'll be hooked.
Keep in mind though it's not all humour, they have story arcs which have those unforgettable epic moments in battles that just give you the chills.

They kinda did do something after the 2nd season, 4 20minute ovas showing the events between season 1 and 2. Still as epic as the first season and much better than the 2nd, then again the 2nd season wasn't anywhere as good as the original.
 
for me it was tower of druaga. i loved the classic games and the one for ps2 so i gave it a shot. i loved it! it was full of action, great characters, and funny dialog. be warned though the first episode is a dream so don't let it put you off with its goofiness :)
 
Bakuman, Episodes 1 and 2

I'm really enjoying this show, it's easy to get into and I like the story. It's about a boy, who is a great drawer and also had a manga writer as an uncle, that gets asked by his smart classmate to start writing a manga with him; the smart guy providing the story. The boy's crush is a girl wanting to be a voice actress, and they've made a promise that once they accomplish their dreams, they'll get married. The story's all about chasing a dream, and I'm really looking forward to each upcoming episode. Highly recommended if you want a relaxing, heart-warming anime.

It has started really well this show, though I'm still not 100% sure what the hell is going on... still, great pictures and characters so I'm looking forward to it.
 
One piece, Drum Island Arc. The villian is one of my least favorites, but I do love this arc. We meet Chopper and he has one of the most tragic pasts of the entire crew. We also get to see just how much Luffy cares about his crew when he carries Nami, and later Sanji too, up to the Doctor's castle. And the arc has one of the best and most emotional endings :)
 
The last anime I watched was "Please Teacher!" A very (but mildly) sexual anime about a student who falls in love with his teacher who turns out to be an alien...

The one I'm currently watching is "High School of the Dead". A more recently released anime and is being EXTREMELY enjoyable so far. It does get very sexual with the boobs, but they just sneak those things in there to lure in audiences. It's about a group of high school students who get caught in the middle of a zombie apocalypse in Japan.
 
YuGiOh 5Ds - I'm currently trying to get caught up with the series. Currently on Episode 123 and I have to say I am getting interested in this series now thanks to this arc compared to the last one that had a lot of filler. Hopefully I will be able to get caught up with the rest of it by early next week but for now I will take a break.
 
I watched Petite Cossette episode 1 last night. It's an interesting series. Basically souls of the dead are attached to objects. And the main character gets mixed up with one of these souls. i'll have to watch more episodes to find out exaclty what is going on.
 
Oh! I JUST finished the last episode of a series called Paranoia Agent and I HIGHLY recommend it! The story revolves around a mysterious kid named "Shounen Bat" who comes to people cornered by their worries and attacks them with a baseball bat. The series was really good and is very decent. It's an old anime that is one of those hidden gems in the anime ocean out there. I started the show yesterday and could stop watching until it was all finished. Every episode leads to more shocking clues and the mysterious SHounen Bat's secrets get revealed with every episode...Warning, series contains a cute but creepy doll that decideds to come to life like......whenever it feels like. I love the underlying message of the show though. it's so true! Go check it out! ^_^
 
Highschool of the Dead -

Just finished watching it, it was really fun to watch. Although, knowing it's the same kind of Resident Evil and what not but I enjoyed this anime A LOT. It's really good and I'd recommend watching it.

Occult Academy -

I still haven't watched much, only like about to Episode 3. Though, it kinda got boring in episode 3 due to the repetitive kind of humor which just leave you with a plain when they are going to get serious and actually be interesting for once... I think the story is interesting and I'd recommend watching it on that basis but the humor isn't really good.

Shinrei Tantei Yakumo -

Although it's another supernatural anime, I must have admit I really was attached to this one, the story of the episode, the main character, the whole thing was just exciting to me. I really like this kind of Anime, it's really good. Although, it's unfortunate there's only one episode so far. :(

I love the first episode in the first season. xD

And with that, the last animes I've watched recently are The Tower of Druaga 1 and 2, and just now - 11eyes.

I quite enjoyed The Tower of Druaga 1 and 2. I thought the characters were memorable, though the hero was a bit of an annoyance despite his strength. It's the typical 'adventure' type anime, though the setting isn't set in a vast world. Instead, their adventure is limited in a tower, which is...well, a bit different I suppose. But I liked it. Not too much in-your-face romance, which is still pretty cool. Sometimes too much of that gets annoying real quick.

As for 11eyes...let's just say I'm a bit ticked off with that anime right now. Probably why I'm posting in this thread in the first place. I normally don't bother with anime reviews, but if it's just to rant for a bit...urgh, I hate hate hate characters with the cliche stance, "I will protect her! I will protect her! I will protect her! Protect her I must!" Okay dumbass, we get your point, don't repeat the same freakin' line throughout the episodes/series.

It started out really good, I must admit. There was some potential there and I thought it was going to be in one of my 'favorite' lists. But the character Yuka got so annoying really quick, same with the hero, that the whole anime turned me off. The only reason why I chose to go through with the series is because of Misuzu and a few others. Story-wise...I did get it, but later in the episodes it got to be so freakin' confusing that I didn't even bother to stop and evaluate what was actually going on anymore. Poor development and lacking in so many areas.
 
Been watching Initial D.

Just about bought the entire series now.

Just waiting for the last disc to arrive for Season 1 and it will be complete. <3

I'm not usually a car fan but this show is pretty interesting and it's good because Steve watches it with me as well.
 
Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu -

It's still new, but it's pretty interesting. I really like the protagonist he's quite the mysterious character, the comedy in it isn't so bad either, this year had quite a few nice series, I really look forward to what's gonna happen after.
 
I've been watching Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei recently. I enjoy watching it a lot. It's a comedy about encountering elements of life (mostly negative ones). I'm very fond of some of the characters there especially Nozomu, Kafuka and Kiri (the hikikomori girl).

I also watched Bakemonogatari a while ago. It's a comedy/occult anime. It's a bit weird but still.. I like watching it :D
