Last game you finished?

The last game i finished would be Chrono Cross.

I finished it with a party of: Serge, Riddel and Guile.(Allthough technically, The boss before the final final one was harder. So i count it as the true final boss. I finished that with Serge, Glenn and Guile )

The Colour of their names corrospond with their innate. Serge/Riddel = White. Glenn = Green and Guile = Black.

The game I just finished recently was Catherine. I got the Katherine True ending. I'm such a hopeless romantic who is a sucker for happy endings :ari:

I just finished El Shaddai (Ascension of the Metatron) some time ago and it was a lot shorter than I expected - about five hours. But I got it pretty cheap on eBay and I think it was still worth it - The game is a visual wonder and if kust makes me feel like painting. I'm going to play it through again on a harder difficulty and complete some of the parts I just skipped over :D

I recently complete Tales of the Abyss 3D. I enjoyed it a lot, more than I thought I would but OMG I wanted to frikkin' kill Luke through half the game -_-

Last game I finished was Mass Effect 3.

I waited for the price drop to be reasonable because I expected it to be crap from public reaction. To my surprise, it was the public that were crap. It wasn't bad at all, the story was well done, and it's ridiculous that they have to change it because it didn't go the way fans wanted it to. You don't see JKR rewriting HP just because it was a massive disappointment that only made more holes with absolutely no filling in. :wtf:

Tales of Vesperia

was such a epic game, super super amazing, was the best game i played on my xbox, and i'm already missing it pretty badly :sad3: might have to replay it on my brothers xbox at some point :ohoho:

was slightly disappointed with the ending, but apart from that, epic music, epic battles and epic characters, great game :inlove:

Last game I finished, (really a while ago) is Uncharted 3.

I finished up Demon's Souls again, on a different account, cause it's just too damn fun.

Devil May Cry (1) for the second time. One of my favourite games from Capcom.

I bought and beat Journey yesterday. It was a pretty game, but short. Me and some random person went through most of the game together so it was quite fun. During one of the later areas I kept getting hit by the weird snake things and I had no scarf left :sad2:

PAYDAY: The Heist
PSN

Aw this game was so much fun, I am so upset that it was over so quickly :( We finished it on Sunday morning. It would have been over even faster if one of the levels wasn't so incredibly hard and had us replaying it at least 10 times! I enjoyed it so much that i think I will replay it over again, and I am more than happy to buy any DLC that comes out for it, though I wont be happy about it :ahmed: because I fucking hate the idea of DLC. The game should have come with it rather than being only 6 missions long :rage:

Either way, one of my favourite games to play with a friend I think :D

^ Payday was fun. I need to go back and play it again someday.

Finished up Lego Batman 2 for the Vita. Apparently its a DS port of the game which explains why the cutscenes are a little blurry and the graphics are way below what the Vita can put out. Aside from that it was a fun game.

Persona 4 about a week ago. The story started off good but eventually got really bland and boring. The characters were alright, and I did enjoy some of the banter amongst them, but most of their social links were terrible. The social links overall paled in comparison to the ones in P3. I think I'm just tired of them in general, though. The battle system was much better, though. It improved a lot on P3's so it was good. Still same old exploit weakness spam all out attacks, though. Overall the game wasn't very good, but it wasn't painful to play through, thankfully. Though it felt more of a chore near the end and I just wanted to move on to Nocturne. I loved Persona 3, but 3 and 4 are incredibly slow due to the date system. It was interesting once, but a second time wasn't very good. I hope Persona 5 goes back to how P1 and 2 were (aka more like original SMT) and focus less on school life and boring stuff and more on a decent plot while also keeping an alright battle system (because P1 and 2's were terrible). I'd give it a 6.1113514312/10. Hopefully Soul Hackers comes to America and SMT IV is great. Then maybe I'll forgive Atlus for remaking P4. Though P4U looks like tons of fun, the soundtrack is great, and it features P3 characters and shit so I'll be getting that.

I just finished Persona 3 for the first time and I loved it, the battle system was good and I liked the story and the characters. The date and time of day system to me was fine and it was necessary to be able to do the social links with the other characters and all of the other things with your overall development. I bought Persona 4 a couple days later and I am about a quarter the way through and I am enjoying it, it as of the moment isn't as great as P3 but I am still enjoying it.

Last game I finished was Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. Awsome, fantastic game nothing else to say about it. Right now Im playing Final Fantasy II and then Ill move on to Breath of Fire II.

LittleBigPlanet 2, I think. I haven't played many games lately. Though I did recently watch my husband play Xenoblade Chronicles.
I'm working on finishing my 21st playthrough of FFIX, but I wouldn't really count that since I've played it so many times.

I finished Beat The Beat this morning and it's got so many great minigames. It got a bit tedious towards the end though where the minigames turn into slightly changed replicas of the older ones. Still, those remixes were so good, along with the songs. Definitely worth playing for those Wii owners who haven't had anything to play on it for a while.

Just finished Final Fantasy II for the first time. It was better than I expected but I cannot get myself to play Soul of rebirth.. I had enough of a random encounter for each step :D.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

You know that feeling you get, when you play a game that could have been GOTY, but it isn't because someone sucks at their job? Well yeah. in a nutshell.

The Drawbacks

no endgame (meaning you will eventually outgear the content and the game will become extremely easy, the worst kind of easy)
there are many armor sets in the game, which sounds great at first - until you realize it is pretty impractical to collect them.
the questing is just... it feels like World of Warcraft. Run to x, kill/collect y, run back to z. Just be glad there is a fast travel system.
some classes lack key class archetype qualities
enemies can change the trajectory of their attacks when they are already in motion, such as a body slam or charge.
dodge roll w/e is flawed in design
the combat is very clunky, combos were a terrible idea. Devil May Cry has more depth than what was trying to be achieved here. This also ties in with issues with dodge roll. The point of playing a game is to have fun, and when you want to take that away, it becomes a chore. Not being able to break your finisher with a dodge roll makes the flow of combat feel very contrived, because sometimes you will just plain refuse to use it.
not enough different types of enemies
I want to punch a baby every time a prompt appears on my screen.

I'd like to list all the different armor sets as a plus... but you will not even see half of them before you are done with the game. They look great, but it's just there for decoration since you can't craft any armors besides the ones that you salvage templates from. Like Ninjas with Katanas sheathed on their back; cool, but impractical.

If you don't get it, it's because without freakishly long arms you can't pull a sword that size out of a sheath on your back. Many Katanas are 40+ inches long, a 20 inch or so blade would have be much more practical.

The Perks

character customization
class customization (if you want to be a wizard with a fucking bow go figure lol)
the game art looks decent, Warsworn armor set is one of the easier ones to get and is featured on the cover of the game. one of the better looking sets, a Might set.

honestly, i feel for this game. such a tragedy that it is just so terrible. does not help that probably the only form of endgame or arena challenge in the game is day 1 dlc with ea's war on used games.

Donkey Kong Country

This was the first time I completed this game in all these years. I didn't find 100% of the bonus stages, but I don't really care about that.

Borderlands 2
PS3

So I finally finished this game and I am happy to say that it is one of my most favourite games ever.
Everything about it was incredible, the characters, the story, the music and the worlds. I love the look of the graphics too. I didn't get to complete all the side quests and sadly I didn't get to unlock the Vault Hunter mode because I wasn't playing on my own file... which is disappointing but I still got to experience it all.
The ending mission, without giving anything away is 100% better than the original one thank goodness. It was actually difficult and I did die a couple of times.

Overall I really loved this game and will definitely play through it again with a new character! Probably Gaige!
