Playstation Legend of Legaia.

The reason why I fell in love with anything like it in the first place. If I could play Legends of Legaia again, god damnit I sure as hell would. That was one of my favorite games. I actually think I played it a lot more than I played my SNES, which I was married to.

I'm still looking for this game. No luck :(

I agree. The second one had the same battle system but it didn't feel the same OR having the epic music. :sad3: It didn't really click together as a game and the final boss was piss easy.

Catnip:
I just typed it into eBay and loads of entries came up! I ran through the list for you an saw this was the cheapest one, the others were twice or even 4 times as expensive. :monster:

Yeah, Ebay is going to be the only place I think. I struck luck and got it again from there 2 year ago and the game isnt going out of my sight lol! Took me years to find it again. Its one of those rare treasures. Hope you manage to get a copy Catnip.

Yes I realize how old this thread is, but I had to comment here.

This was my favorite game over the summer when I was up north visiting my aunt as a little kid, but....it's been so long I forgot all about it! I never got to finish it though, because I had to go back home. I think I had just been able to return to the starting village (if that was ever restricted). I just remember training across a river a bit north of there. Had all three members, to :)

(goes to look it up on youtube)

.......ah, the cheesy goodness.... :)

This thread is somewhere.... :hmmm:

Anyway, I loved the game. It was awesome and had a unique battle system. The directional input was genius, in my opinion. I liked the protagonist and the other two. Noa's combos were so long and awesome. I am trying to find it to play it again. It was really awesome.

I bought this game used from my local game store and I loved it, never beat it and had to sell it to make ends meet.
After about a month I kept on remembering it so I looked it up on Ebay and found a better copy for 15 dollars cheaper.
I now have my mind set on beating it since I had to sell it before but after I beat the other games I have before it.

From what I played I could tell the battle system was unique, think a turn based fighting game and I'm sure it would be get perfected ad the game continued.

i played this game before and actualy liked the unique battle style but after awhile i got stuck when you had to fight that one guy with that monk alone he killed me everytime cuz i rushed through the forest then my little brother lost the disk and i couldnt get any further

Where do you think I got my name from! :gasp:

I posted in the Legend of Dragoon thread earlier, saying it was in my top 5 rpg's of the psx era. Well this is number 1! :D:D

I loved playing this game, and still do. Only three characters let me enjoy what I do most, not balancing a whole freaking mess of characters! The battle system is maybe the most unique I have ever experienced.

The storyline is a little 'save the world' simple, but the background of the characters is what I loved most. Vahn and Rim Elm, Noah and her lineage, and Gala of course with the Monastery.

As for side quests, as mentioned before, there are a few Seru you can unlock, along with a massively addicting slots game, as well as a battle arena to constantly test yourself.

Overall, this is my favorite game of all time, only rivaled by Metal Gear Solid, which was also on the psx.....:holyshit:.
