Legendary weapons aren't so legendary =(

You're meant to upgrade them with their relevant Crest and Sigil to get them to full power 
For instance, Yuna's Nirvana needs Moon Crest and Moon Sigil to reach it's full potential.

you need to get the respective sigils/crests for each weapon and use the celestial mirror on them in macalania forest, otherwise, they won't be of any use at all. Then you will have decent weapons with decent attributes

Aurons is easy, the rest are a pain, i got all of them over the course of about 4 months 
Yeah Auron's was easy and Yuna's wasnt too bad either (keep your Aeons in overdrive makes it wayyy easier to defeat the Remien temple aeons). Im gonna try and get Lulu's (got all the way up to 66 lightning strikes and got hit :wtf
and then im done the rest are too hard lol.
O and I did the thing in Macalania and it worked like a charm now Auron is a BEAST lol.

I'm also currently trying to get all of the "ultimate" weapons. So far I have:Lulus, Aurons,Yunas and Tidus.
Still need to do some cactuar hunting or something for rikkus. Catching butterflies (seriously ?) for Khimaris, and then play/win that godd**n blittzball c**p !! I hate it...worst part of the game for me...I only played the mandatory blitzzball game and it was so boring...guess this will be the final thing I do, before finishing the game.
A tip on dodge lightning, that worked for me is, getting some equipment with the abillity "No encounters", because then it will be a lot easier to concentrate on those lightnings, without getting into fights all the time.
Can't remember which enemy droppes them though...

I think you can get 3-slot weapons from fighting in the monster arena.Some people use those when they can't get the legendary weapons.

i hate lightning dodging. Turn the soundoff and do it in a dark room and go by the screen flashing to hit the X button. I can never remember how I end up with no enc weapons. but they cant be that hard to come by.

No Encounter weapons are gained by using 30 something.........?...... Purifying Salts?
on a piece of Armor.
For your knowledge kid..........Caladbolg, World Champion, Godhand & Spirit Lance all lose power(attack/damage) as the wielders lose HP............Auron however gains Power as he loses HP upto 4times as much his standard damage rating!
The ladies Yuna/Lulu weapons Nirvana & Onion Knight lose power as there MP are used up..........but thats no worry since they dont use Physical attacks primarily. Crafty buggers at S-S/S-E made them come with a price with the one you pay to get the blasted things lol
