We also find a new combinable treasure, that can all be sorted out and ready for sale down here, so we get that done too. Finally, we find the sewage drain valve, ready for the next episode.

Hello there people, this episode has all of Ashley's chapter part, which is one of my favourite parts in the game :) . Her part is dark, stealthy, has a proper puzzle and gets us the 2nd of the emblems (the serpent emblem). Before this, we have to take on the sniper section in order to free and protect Ashley though.

Episode 24 - Queen's Grail

Hello there again people, this time we take on the fire room to get the last of the ornaments/emblems (the Lion Ornament), we get the first of 2 grails which will act as keys to the next area (Queen's Grail) and head back to an optional area to get ourselves a free magnum and a pretty good treasure (all thanks to Ashley...who'd have thunk!).

The sacrifice to the lion has some pretty tough parts, but it's not too bad. This episode just has the beginning of that, which includes the fight against 2 doc Salvadors and a trap ceiling.

Hey there folks, now that we have the key to Ashley's prison cell, we need to make our way back to her! First off though, we check out an optional area of the island, where we see a secret cutscene. It's only a short episode...seriously short...but I hope you enjoy ;)
 
It's nice but I never found the other pistols bar the blacktail or matilda underwhelming for critical hits. You can go back to where you first came into the corridor before Salazar's right hand attacks, and see the doors smashed open where it came in

I never knew about that one. I've learnt 2 secrets now during this lp: the dog cutscene back at the lake and that you can see some smashed doors back there. I'll have to check when I go back through on pro (which should be mighty interesting :wacky: ).

Also, is it true that if you keep ALL MAJOR treasures (completed and not completed for 3 playthroughs and then go and sit on Sadler's chair (the ONLY chair you have the option to sit on in the game), you get a large knife instead of the dinky one you have? (Not that it matters since the PRL 412 is the best weapon EVER :wacky: ) I just heard the rumor and I didn't get the chance to do it... But I'm hearing new little secrets about this game EVERY day... (not really but you know)

This episode sees us head to the waste disposal area with Ashley, and we also get to fight plenty more regenerators and spiked maidens. Also, we get to use a wrecking ball to open a doorway, and head onto a forklift/truck/lorry/thing to get to the next area.

Remember to stick with the knife to save on ammo and you should be fine...2 or 3 slashes will be enough to get rid of him each time he shows up. This is all to collect the 3 "keys" to escape the ruins, but we only get 2 in this episode...

Episode 47 - Ringing The Bell

And hello again! In this episode, we get quite a lot done. We find the green catseye (which is an important key item this time around) and swap it for the round insignia. This lets us access the church and ring the bell, ending chapter 1. We also complete the church lighting puzzle, which is a bit different this time around.
