I'm tempted to say Lindblum, but I think I might have to go with Alexandria. I agree about the music, Lindblum's regular theme as well the castle theme to me are quite boring, while when you first come into Alexandria you get this eargasm:

It is true that Lindblum is a lot bigger and much more advanced, which is a big plus, but to me Alexandria has a lot more soul which makes it a bit more appealing.

And then there's Alexander, that part when he protects the castle with his wings.. It's probably my favourite part in the game.

Well Lindblum has the airship dock and the huge industrial, art and market districts, It's also huge and on the whole a more friendly atmosphere. Who could forget the festival of the hunt?
However I'll have to go with Alexandria, the magic and the beauty it has from the start. Also being defended by a summon of holy magic just too cool for school.

I'll have to go with Lindblum because the look of it is awesome the ports where the airships go and such, also the festival of the hunt started here which was pretty awesome. I also like Alexandra as i felt the music theme was better then Lindblum and it has a nice atmosphere about it.

Before the big explosion, Alexandria was a pretty beautiful city. But Lindblum contained everything that I would hope to find if I were to live there. It has a big city, government, and good economy (what the hell, I'm talking about economy in a video game.). While Alexandria was barely incapable of standing on its own, Lindblum usually took care of itself even when the black mages attacked it. So yes, I pick Lindblum.

I love the overall design and layout of Lindbum much more than Alexandria, but the music and NPCs in Alexandria are just beautiful and fantastic... Gonna have to remain indecisive on this one.

I'd go with Lindblum, because it is bigger, but I like Alexandria too because it is more comforting, I guess.

I like Lindblum better cause it's way more advanced with all the airship's and has different district's to visit. The only thing I like about Alexandria is the music other than that it's very small place with not much to see.

Let's remember to put a bit of effort into our posts and say why we'd choose one place over the other, thanks. :)

I would have to say Alexandria, strictly for its atmosphere. I love the mysteriousness of its castle and how peaceful the city felt. The excitement of protecting Alexandria and seeing the loss afterwards felt powerful to me. I actually liked Queen Brahne, and I wish we had gotten to see more of what she was like before her brainwashing. I like her storyline a bit better than Regent Cid's; it was more complex and tragic. Also, an effective female army is pretty awesome in my book, esp. one lead by Beatrix. Steiner is a lovable great character and the perfect lead for the bumbling Knights of Pluto. Alexander just tops the whole thing off. All of these characters contributed to Alexandria's overall atmosphere, which I felt was lacking in Lindblum.

(If I could take a third option, though, I'd definitely say Treno. I love the auction house.)

i'd take lindblum because it's so whimsical. the airships, bustling townsfolk, and the general culture produced by the architecture and dialogue really pull you into it. It is almost on par with Treno.

I'd have to say Lindblum. The airship, the vast, huge amount of areas to explore, the synth shop and the transport across the various districts.

However, if there were other options, I would choose the Cleyra settlement. A beautiful city in the trees!

Without a doubt, Lindblum. You get to see that more throughout the game and its a fantastic place. It has everything you need in one huge area xD. I think the castle is beautiful and, I liked the districts and of course, that monster fighting challenge as well. (festival hunt) I like airships alot and, this place was probably one of my favorites in the game.

While I liked Alexandria, Lindblum had more things. Variety and, I like variety.

Alexandria. I love it in FMV's and how it's the start of the game with the festivities and the Castle and then the destruction of it by Bahamut.

Lindblum's not bad, but I think there's more epic moments in the royal city of Alexandria.
