Okay, so I guess there's this GF called Odin that will throw Seifer out of the battle and you win? Correct me if I'm wrong.
How do you get this GF?
Because I'm having too much trouble fighting Seifer because he's too fast and powerful, so maybe this GF could help.
any help would be greatly appreciated [:

You go to the place in the cetra ruins( the crescent shaped island i think) and complete the challenge before time runs out, you also have to beat odin as well,( you will end up with gilgamesh later) think you have 30 mins or sumthin. You should refine better magic to junction to your stats if your having trouble with seifer, i remember beating him in 3 hits or something. Refine tents into curaga to put on your health or defence, and spells like flare for attack

Seifer actually kills Odin if you have him. But I'll try to help out. The way I beat Seifer the first time was drawing Aura from him and casting on the whole party then just spamming Limit breaks until he died. Kind of a lame tip but It has been awhile since I played.

You get Odin from the Cetra Ruins, and he is an optional GF.

Also, Seifer doesn't get thrown out of the battle by Odin.... :wacky:

There's an obscurely shaped structure on the Centra continent, known as the Centra Ruins. Upon entering, a 20 minute counter will commence and this indicates your remaining time left until Odin removes you from the Centra Ruins. It's relatively simple to obtain him; it involves the removal and insertion of jewelled eyes from one gargoyle into another, and back again, entering a code at the same time. You must then battle Odin but, thankfully, he remains completely still throughout the whole battle, so you should encounter no difficulties.

Below is a link to a map and it indicates the exact location of the Centra Ruins.

It's not entirely necessary for Odin to end the battle and I'll also mention that, technically, Odin does not end the battle; he comes at the beginning but is rendered ineffective. Rest assured, however - if you have obtained Odin, the battle time is limited, though I'm not sure of the variables involved in the passage of time.

I'd like to conclude my post my saying that having difficulties with Seifer at this point suggests that your junctions are not particularly effective and I'd recommend upgrading some of your spells, which are junctioned to your stats. Also, take this opportunity to draw Aura from Seifer; you'll never have such a chance ever again.

Thank you very much everyone!
I will try your tips, and I'm sure they will work. They have in the past when I asked for help on these forums.
Thanks, I really appreciate it. [:
