Lymbros!

i'm interested as to exactly what your agenda is? are you a production company or do you just want to make random videos to put on youtube? either way, the comedy is not funny. it is awkward and forced, and neither of you seem to have any on-screen chemistry.

also, you need to invest in an actual camera and not record things on a phone. and i don't particularly see what took hours about the editing of that second video. it was just a video of a couple of people dicking around in a forest, with some text on screen every now and then.
if you want to do a music video, and do it well, you have a long way to go.

I appreciate you guys have put effort into making videos and had the balls to put them online and share them, but I could hardly watch even a minute of each video. They are incredibly cringey because they are not funny at all. I can see that this sort of comedy is what makes you and your friends laugh, but what is funny to you and your friends is quite different to what will appeal to a larger audience. It doesn't help that the video editing is very awkward.
Just my opinion. :hmmm: Good luck lads. :dave:

I appreciate the criticism and understand our flaws. Whilst equipment is very hard to come by, we tried to see what just messing around could go by but of course it did not go well. Anyhow we are trying to get used to this whole recording lark and seeing what works well. Otherwise I am polishing old scripts to see what we can make. Our new cameraman is also getting proper equipment in a few months which should really help with our improvement. But hey, I thank you for the criticism and appreciate that you tried to watch it. Even I do not appeal to this much but we all start off somewhere: thus we not intend to be awesome but more to see how we can have fun and entertain at the same time. Thanks all the same.

i'd have to strongly disagree with equipment being hard to come by. these days, it's easier than ever to find a decent camera and sound gear. most digital slr's are capable of recording movies in 1080p, and at various frame rates to boot, and they cost next to nothing when you look at the price of say an arri alexa or red epic, or even a sony z1. a zoom mic is about as best as you can get for recording sound, and you can pick them up incredibly cheap.
what software do you use for editing?
