Male and Female Symbols

Is it just me or is there no longer a male or female symbol next to usernames?

I preferred having the symbols there and it would be nice if they came back.

It's already hard enough trying to figure out what people are when they have male character usernames but are really girls and vice versa.

I don't see an option for it in the ACP. It may not be a feature of the newer version of Vbulletin.

Apparently it's not available in vB4. You can still set your gender, but it will only appear on your profile. No pretty symbols though.

Not sure if it's possible, but does the control panel allow you to select an option to show your gender in the section on the left below the avatar (that shows your age, location and posts), instead of having a symbol next to the username?

I also liked seeing the thread count as well as the post count too. Is that possible to bring back?

I do see an option to add 'Views' in the Postbit panel, but this will require some coding. We'll see if Belazor can get those sorted for us.

i personally think it's difficult to get that impression

i was actually very sure you were female

It makes it hard because you don't want to ask them what they are but at the same time it makes it awkward to say certain things if you aren't entirely sure.

There was one member I swore was a guy and then it turned out after months of reading their posts that they were a girl.

I know some people may say it doesn't matter what gender people are but I personally think it helps to know. >.<
