Wow simply beautiful Mandi!

Reading the part about Kikyou made me take an interest in this series too. I've never seen Inuyasha and just this small part about Kikyou has made me want to go watch it. >_<

Anyway I think you've really captured the sadness in her eyes in this picture. The shinidamachuu looks really scary. His eyes look evil. =0

Fantastic detail on the clothing and hair again.

Her hand with the shinidamachuu on it looks really well drawn too!

Can't wait to see the colour version!

Thanks so much Kandy! The story is great. Inuyasha is actually a half-demon/half-human and this girl from the modern day era named Kagome happens to fall down a well sending her 500 years back into the past which is called the Feudal Era. She's also Kikyou's reincarnation. Her name's Kagome. It's an awesome story! I've been in love with Inuyasha every since it first came out. I was an avid reader of the manga while it was still going and I own all the seasons of the anime. You should definitely check it out! You can stream the anime online. If you're interested, I'll send you a link to where you can stream the episodes.

Even without colour it looks fantastic!

Loved the scenery and and details, but one thing my art teacher always points out is that rub of the construction lines at the end! :monster:

Keep it up Mandi!

Errrr....what? o_o Rub of construction lines? Could you perhaps elaborate on that because that's something I've never even heard of. I mean I've heard of construction lines and normally I use those for perspective when I'm drawing on a specific plane...anyway thanks. ^^

¬_¬

I just spotted the faint lines on her clothes were creases (faint lines to help figure = construction lines) God I'm so outta 'it' today ¬_¬ Sorry for the confusion :monster:

Ahhh I know what you're referring to. Those are called guidelines. Basically I use those when I start out a human drawing. They're always seen faintly on the sketch. I don't, however, erase them off the sketch because I do the work in Photoshop on a completely different layer, so there's no need to erase them.

I love that last finished peice, its so so pretty, you always do such an awesome job with the background and it complemnts the picture perfectly, its gorgeous

Loving the new sketch <3

Thank yewwwwwwww! x3 And it just so happens that I finished coloring the lovely Kikyou tonight! :D So here she is in all her (very sad ;_; ) glory!
