Yes, you read that correctly, Iron Man, and Wolverine are both going to be in anime, made by MadHouse, known for making the Death Note anime. The story can be found here...

and the trailers:

I think the Iron Man trailer looks amazing, and although I was like WTF at first with the Wolverine one, it STILL looks badass.

I heard about these awhile ago. The Iron Man trailer looked pretty good, but I doubt many fans would like the Wolverine anime, since it seems to be a far cry from the original. Anime adaptions aren't that uncommon these days, like the Hollywood live-action movie adaptions. There has been a Highlander anime, a Batman anime, and now an upcoming Halo anime. I guess they're goal is to get superhero comic lovers to get into anime, but I don't think that'll happen.

Iron Man looks quite promising but what the hell have they done to Wolverine?

He's always been short, rough round the edges, muscular, unshaven and here we get Emo Wolverine. Im sure this will only appeal to teenagers..

Not even. Even the teens today, if without exposure to the comics, still has a grasp of at least the X-men movie Wolverine. While the movies had their own problems, the depiction of Wolverine was a fairly accurate one, and one in far contrast to what's shown in that trailer. I really don't think it'll catch on.

The Iron Man one on the other hand, I have to give it to them, looks badass.

That being said, I'm sorry to say, I don't know how I feel about this. I really don't. I just feel like the continuity established in the comics is going to be butchered by either of these series...

Honestly, im not fond of transforming a different comic type into another. From the marvel stuff i read, the characters suit the style. I have to say tho
, Iron man may work, but im not expecting a life expectancy of over 20 episodes. Maybe 25. If it does, then i'll be damned.

Was just watching Adult Swim. They pretty much put in lamens terms what we said...

I wasn't fully paying attention, but I saw something like:

Homotastic Wolverine: No
Cool Iron Man: Yes

I'm supposing they did this with the rising interest in animes? Either way, I understand why Raine Sage went 'WTF' with the Wolverine trailer. I mean. Wolverine with long hair? In a Japan-looking place? (Honestly, I thought he lived in some Western country, USA, if I remembered correctly, not something in the Far East, literally)

The Iron Man trailer does look good, however. At least, among the two, it looks to be the best. I'm not sure how this would turn out though, but I am expecting positive results. I'm not so much a fan of the style in comics, as much as manga or anime, and, basing my opinions on the possibility of others with similar thoughts, I'll suppose many may be attracted to watch.
