i'm very excited for all of the phase 2 films, particularly captain america 2 because i think there's a lot that they can do with the character and him coming to terms with the new world. guardians of the galaxy is an interesting one, because it's going to go a bit more wacky and sci-fi than other superhero films.

I'm pretty sure Ant-Man is gonna kick off Phase 3, but I think it's fantastic that Edgar Wright is directing this.

I must say though, Marvel definitely have seemed to up their game for this next run. More than anything, I'm looking forwards to Guardians of The Galaxy. I really can't wait to see Groot and Rocket Raccoon on the big screen. And so far, the cast seems quite interesting. I really wish Michael Clarke Duncan was around. His voice would have been perfect for Groot. :( I also wouldn't be surprised if Guardians will tie into Avengers 2 more than any of the other films.

It's ashame Fox still own the license for Galactus and Silver Surfer. Galactus would have been friggin' awesome for an Avengers movie villain. :hmmm:

don't the guardians basically guard the galaxy from thanos? it certainly looks like they'll be using that as the main set up for the avengers 2. i read earlier today that it starts filming in february next year. :ohoho:

i'd have quite liked to see the fantastic four tie in to the cinematic universe somewhere down the line. we are getting a reboot of that in the next couple of years though, so we can try and pretend.

Thanos, Annihilus, Galactus... Most of those big-ass muthahfuckahs. :lew: But yeah, I bet Thanos would be in the upcoming film. I wonder if Damion Poitier will take on that role. :hmmm:

If the Fantastic Four reboot is anything compared to The Amazing Spider-Man, I can guarantee rumours of a tie-in would start flying in. There's already rumours of a Spider-Man tie-in with the Avengers. While that would be great, I really can't imagine these studios working together like that. Can you imagine that happening?

You guys are freaking lame man what about SPAWN that is the best marvel badass evil protagonist ever!! Spawn reboot fuck yeah make it happen.

:ohoho:

sony and disney did try and work something out for a spiderman thing in the avengers. they wanted oscorp tower to show up in the new york skyline, but they missed the deadline to make the deal before the actual rendering was done. they would also have had stark tower in the amazing spiderman. knowing fox, there'll never be even a hint of fantastic four being in marvel's cinematic universe.

Yeah, I read about that. :hmmm: Woulda been a nice little touch to get over-excited fans wetting their pants haha. It would be cool if Marvel and Sony could come to some sort of deal in future though.

I've never really been into Fantastic Four, so I'm not too disappointed they're not likely to appear alongside the Avengers. I just don't like that Galactus and Silver Surfer were part of that deal. I know Fox didn't bother renewing their deal for Daredevil, so he's back in the hands of Marvel Studios now. No doubt we'll be seeing a reboot for him some time.

Now that Marvel's spreading out to whole new worlds, I hope we start seeing even more characters like Nova, or Lockjaw and The Eternals.

That's kinda how I feel about it. :hmmm: I mean, it doesn't look bad, and I'd definitely go see it, but I liked the first one better. Of course, it's just roughly a minute and a half long trailer, who knows how the story fully develops.

All I know is that Tumblr blew up over Loki's hair. :lew: Cause clearly that's the priority of the movie. :dave:

All considering, I'd like to see this teamwork between Thor and Loki post-Avengers. Especially seeing Thor say "Know that when you betray me, I will kill you." So obviously the trust he had in him is just completely gone. I'd like to see how this goes. :hmmm:

This trailer has gotten me pretty excited to see the film later this year. It definitely hasn't blown me away like any of those Iron Man 3 trailers, but I'm still very much looking forwards to seeing this. The "alliance" between Thor and Loki would be very interesting to see.
