I'm totally obsessed with this movie lately, it's about 6/7 years old now, but it's still so great. It doesn't feel dated at all. It's just so brilliantly quotable, and I think it's one of the best Teen Comedies ever made. I could watch the movie all day and not be bored.

So, what do you think of the movie? xD

"Alright stop. Hammer time. Uh oh uh oh uh oh uh oh uh oh uh oh uh oh uh oh uh oh" xD

I think the movie is great too. I didn't even see it for my first time until recently. I'm not a big comedy lover, but this one was great. I enjoyed sitting through every minute of it.

Was well worth the rental. xD

I really enjoyed this movie. It was cleverly written and well-cast, nicely directed. It started off very strong and really captured the life of some girls in a high school setting (although it did kind of lose its momentum near the middle/end). Girls can be very nasty to each other. We play a different game and it was well depicted and funny. I need to watch it again sometime. It's been a while.

Let's just say that this isn't one of those movies where if someone played it once a month at my place, I'd say, "Jeez, you're watching this movie again?" Nope, this is the kind of movie that really entertains me and something I can easily laugh to even if I've seen it so many times now. Whatever it is that I may be doing at the time, if someone plays this movie, I'll stop and watch a few scenes, and then eventually settle myself comfortably on a couch.

I don't like Lindsey Lohan, personally, but I thought she was pretty good here. The character that I enjoyed more thoroughly was Regina George - just loved her to pieces! And of course Karen Smith; she made me laugh more than I can remember. The telephone scene was particularly one of the best, I thought. I've seen that happen so many times during in high school. This movie really does make us think back and recognize the familiarity of the situation.

It's definitely one of those movies that I can just throw on the background anytime, and watch it without watching it, but still watch it. It doesn't get old or tired and if it's ever on TV, I always put it on. And it's probably one of the better teen movies that's actually somewhat relatable in a lot of ways, yet it still does some extreme things but not to the degree where you go "oh well that would never happen."

This is one of the only teen movies that I can sit down and watch without getting pissed off. I find it hilarious in several parts. And I've met so many moms that are like the main mean girl's mom XD (And I want to punch them all)

The whole bus part cracks me up because it came out of no where.

I am also happy that the main character is intelligent.

It's a pretty good film, a cut above many films set in high school anyway. It's a bad sad to see Lindsay Lohan in this though and to see her now, she's not only very good in the film, she's also really gorgeous :(

This is the only film besides The Parent Trap that I loved Lindsay Lohan in. It was written and acted fantastically. As others have said, it's one of those films I wouldn't get fed up of. In fact, I'm tempted to buy it in the next few months now that it's been mentioned.

Omg I've seen this movie so many times. I love it because it was written by Tina Fey and I love any movie written by her really. It's so funny and I ejoy all the reruns ^_^. I loved Regina though XD She was so hilarious, especially when she was cheating and they tried to get her caught by he rboyfriends XD. It's so much like highschool I swear. The bus scene really was random though...I loled so loud when I saw it for the first time though

It's the movie that made me go; "Okay, I'm GLAD I'm home schooled, lol. Seriously, though. I love this movie. It's so funny and so great.

Really is a great movie to quote. So many funnies! Haven't seen a movie as funny as it in a long time.

I love this movie!

It's one that I can constantly play over and over again without getting tired of it!

I love how true it is to that of the girls bitchiness in highschool and such. XD

The whole, 'I just think that it would be, like, a fun little experiment if you were to hang out with them and then tell us everything that they say.'

I mean seriously. XD Who cares what they say about you. XD But that is so what used to happen in highschool. XD Love it. <3

It was awesome. There were so many movies that tried to do the same thing. Some added darkness, bizarreness, more love, etc. but they just fucken failed at this shit. Mean Girls is where it's at. The acting was good, it was the right amount of funny, has some unique traits. All the good stuff.

Oh man, I was going to make a new thread had I not found this :wacky:

Anyway, I LOVE Mean Girls. It defines teen comedy and even now it has not yet failed to be a delight to watch. It's deliciously quotable and I could recite SO many lines right now. This is probably my favorite Lohan movie and I wish she would get her head out of her butt and start applying for more comedic roles...
Whether you are a boy or a girl, this film will not disappoint you. It SEEMS like a chick flick, but it's enjoyable for really anyone. Think no longer about wanting to see this film. Go out and rent it!
