Members you've met IRL?

Been meaning to post here again, but I keep putting it off. Met @h34rt1lly (Lily) and @Aitheria (Jerrica) at Distant Worlds on June 17th at Los Angeles. Well, that is... I met them first, and then recruited Lily, who recruited her friend Jerrica. =] That counts!

Anyway, my husband and I sat next to Lily. She commented that she might potentially start crying due to her love for Final Fantasy (VIII) and we joked that we'd cry with her. Or something like that. Super nice girl, really enjoyed our chat before the event started. I told her about this site and she checked it out right away on her phone. Site gave her errors for some reason, lol. I was also tweeting (using the forum's account) at the time and I showed her my tweet before I published it, and said "Hey look, I'm about to post this." It was a mention about her (indirectly). We both just laughed it off and she said she'd definitely join. Score! =P

During intermission Jerrica came over to say hello to Lily, so we were introduced, etc. Found out she's a Final Fantasy XIV freak like me. ^^ Also a very nice gal!

Although we didn't get to chat after the event, meeting them was one of the main highlights for the night.

I can now say I've met 3 FFF members in total! Hopefully more to add to this thread in the near future. =]

It was such a blast sitting next to you guys! I'm happy I got the opportunity to meet you both!

So obviously I've met Mitsuki, as she's explained in detail. But I met Aitheria (Jerrica) years and years ago. We initially met on another Final Fantasy forum (FFX2.net) and were online friends for a few years before we met in person. Both of our families were vacation in Vegas at the same time so we decided to meet up and the rest is history! We hung out a couple of times during the trip, I met her family, she met mine, etc.

Now, we see each other about once a year, two if we're lucky. I usually head out and visit her due to some sort of event happening that we're going to, such as Distant Worlds or kpop concerts.

There's seriously no beating Kelly! She's met who I've met, plus extras.

I met my first forum members in real life at KupoCon in 2018 (though I probably brushed passed Ami earlier in 2017 at the first London event without realising it was her). Since then I've met several at other KupoCon events. Some of them aren't active anymore on this site but they are people I first met on here and it has been a pleasure to meet them in real life.

I'm delighted that none of them have turned out to be wild axe murderers and the like. Despite what people say about meeting people from the internet, they are exactly who they said they were.

I'm a shy person so I didn't really expect I'd ever let myself get in a position where these worlds could collide in a positive way, but KupoCon turned out to be the perfect platform for that.

I haven't really tried to list who I've met before, so here's from memory on the spot: Kelly/Bambi, Ami, Char/Toshiya, Lew/Big Casino, Lisa (I'm not sure what her most recent username was) and Micah/JasonTandro.
There are others I have seen and been aware of who have accounts here but none that I have spoken with so I can't really count that as 'meeting them'.

I know there will be more attending the London Remake event, so maybe more in the future.
