Hey you guys, do you have any memorable school trips that you remember? If you do, please share! (I know that was horrible)

Example:
In the third grade me and my whole class got to go see a circus show at Madison Square Garden. It was a good 2 plus hour show. I remember sitting next to my best friend. Most of all I was just in awe at the fact that I was sitting in the arena where so many memorable wrestling moments have happened. That was my first time there. Ever since then, I've gone back 4 more times to see WWE shows with my parents.

Another would be when we went to the beach. We had to keep the whole trip Hush hush because we weren't supposed to go, but our teacher felt we deserved it. My Dad actually went on that one which was awesome. It was just a really fun relaxing day.

Another is when we got to go fishing in 2nd grade. It was friggin terrible. I was bored the whole time. I didn't catch one damn thing. But it was also awesome because I had never went fishing before, and haven't gone since.

Then there's when we got to see Madagascar in a movie theater all by ourselves. I sat front row to watch it! That was pretty damn cool.

Then the big graduation from elementary school trip. We went to some lodge. The best part was the long bus rides to and from there, where we got to watch movies and such

I remember going to an optional fair for potential careers with my class in our final year.

We didn't really pay attention since most of us had it all already sorted out with what we wanted- or didn't want- to do withour lives.

We spent the day having fun and annoying other schools- and hittin' on the all-female schools(I went to an all-boys school; they're common in Ireland).

So yeah, the guidance counselor hated us after that. ^^

Best day in the last year- save Grad night... What a night! :awesome:

For theatre class in high school we went to the Chanhassen(?) Dinner Theatre and we got to watch Footlose as we ate a WONDERFUL meal and for desert I got to share THE. BEST. CHOCOLATE. CAKE. IN. THE. WORLD. PERIOD. with the people I was sitting with.

It was my fave field trip! (At least the one I can really remember :okay: )

The only thing I enjoyed field trip wise in school (besides band camp of course :P) was this career fair thing where we went down to Ford Field and could walk around and see all these different booths and such. Cedar Point physics final exam was cool too, just didn't like how much it cost.

In 7th grade, I went on a weekend field trip to the Okefenokee Swamp in south Georgia. Was rooming with two friends in a hotel. Unfortunately, the lock on the bathroom door was broken - it remained locked even though it wasn't by appearance. So we worked out a system to knock before we entered to make sure no one was in there. That night, I was in the process of taking my shower which include utilizing the facilities because its efficient. Consequently, I was also ready to take a shower as soon as I was done, i.e. naked, again for efficiency's sake. My dumbass roommate decided to just open the door and logic follows.

Just before that though we had been called in by the assistant principal who was attending the trip with us who said that the maids had refused to clean our room because we TP'd it. The three of us had no clue that we had left it like this and said as such. She dragged us up to the room and entered along with us to find a room that wasn't too messy, aside from the beds, and not a scrap of toilet paper on the ground. The four of us searched the room and it was the other roommate, the one who hadn't walked in on me, who found a single , still wrapped, roll of toilet tissue. The assistant principal raised some hell with the hotel over that and lazy ass maids.

i got to go to australia for a fortnight when i was 15, that was pretty awesome. it was one of those school trip holiday-y type things, so it's not like it was mandatory, but i wasn't going to miss a chance like that. we stayed with a host family from a sister school in a little town just outside melbourne for a week, and then had a week in melbourne itself.

one time i had a school trip with my history teacher to see 3 highland cows.

it really was magnificent. the best trip ive ever had.

we then went to see some pillbox bunkers around aberdeenshire. that was a great trip but not quite as good as the trip to see the 3 highland cows.

I was not allowed to go on camps or anything like that because my mum was a bit of a spastic back then. She's kind of almost normal now. But one time my teachers decided to do a 3 day water sport camp where after each day you went home coz it was just at this lake not far from the city so my super great mum let me go to that. It was cool. We went on yacht's and wind surfing and stuff.

The wind surfing was pretty hard because the sail is really heavy and i remember I dropped it and I couldn't lift it back up so I had to sit there and float on the board for ages until someone saw me and came and collected me in their little motorboat. It was good fun.

We had a school trip to Italy in fifth year that was pretty good, we went to Rome, Capri, and Sorento. It was pretty cool seeing all of the sights in Rome, particularly the Colosseum obviously. It is much smaller on the inside than you'd expect.

I bet Peter Parker would call a particular school-trip memorable...

Don't really recall any outstanding school-trips. Just me being bored, a lot of walking while someone else talked about stuff.
