Wow there are seriously not any more people who listen to Metallica here? That's kind of sad....

My fave song is Creeping Death and my fave Album is Ride the lightning, many good songs
 
Wow that'd be really hard to pick favorites, there are so many good songs on all of their albums. Really love the black album though. And I dunno, the newer stuff just isn't the same as their older music imo.
 
I love 80's 'Tallica, especially the stuff with Cliff Burton. 90's 'Tallica is ok mostly but they should have stuck with Metal instead of Alternative heavy Rock IMO.

...St.Anger however is wank and should be removed from the face of the earth entirly!!!

I'm not a big fan of most of Metallica's songs, but there a number of gems. I like The Unforgiven I and II, but what really blows my mind is Call Of Ktulu. And the symphonic rendition was damn impressive. I'd definitely say this song should be forever remembered.
 
My favorite album is the Black album. My favorite song(s) are probably The Unforgiven and The Unforgiven II.

Yeh, I keep listening to those types of songs, i create a playlist, with only 1 song and repeats it all the time, I cant cant enough of it, it happened with Creeping Death and Ride the lightning
 
I listen to Metallica a lot. My favorites would have to be Enter Sandman, and Nothing Else Matters. I have quite a few of their songs on my playlist.
 
Metallica is my favorite band of all time. I happen to like a couple of songs on St. Anger as well, but overall, old Metallica (...And Justice for All or older albums are considered "old" Black is when they turned mainstream) is where it is at.

There is no other band that is more instrumental than Metallica. Unlike other bands, Metallica plays each and every one of their instruments creating a musical harmony that surpasses all others. The drumming is more than just to "keep a beat" Lars bangs those drums as they should be done - an instrument unto themselves.

My favorite songs would be Whiplash, Fade to Black, Call of Ktulu, (Welcome Home) Sanitarium, Master of Puppets, Battery, Blackened, Frayed Ends of Sanity, One, Nothing Else Matters, Through the Never, Holier than Thou, My Friend Misery, Hero of the Day, Low Man's Lyric, Carpe Diem Baby, Astronomy, Whiskey in the Jar, No Leaf Clover, Invisible Kid...Damn I like these guys too much, heh.

Oh well, here's to their next album, hopefully out later this year.
 
imjsut starting to get back into metallica, ride the lightning is great, and fade to black is da shisnit
