Because if it was true, it would be broadcast by credible news sources. It's not like there's some secret government cover-up or media blackout over a pop star. Only serious conspiracies get that sort of treatment.

Although... The singer reached top charts in 80s with his best selling album of all time Thriller. In the 90s he relieased Invincible, but only 5 million copies were sold. I think that they couldv'e defently cover up for the King of Pop.
But then again it could be just another nasty rumour.

I've never seen a worse photoshop...in fact it doesn't even look like photoshop. Looks like it was done in MSpaint.
Anyway, totally isn't true. Not only is the source unreliable...years old...but there is no news whatsoever anywhere else. It would AT LEAST have been on yahoo's main page.
As for the first post on this page. I respect everybody's opinion and I in no way talk down to anybody. But I just wanted to mention the comment about Jackson's skin color and how his reps make the excuse for lupus. My mother has very bad lupus...and we live in Florida out in the sunlight. She is 50 and she is the same color now as the day she was born...so I would never chalk his skin change off to lupus.

...how can you not see that this is an obvious Photoshopped picture? The forensics man stands out from the background as clear as day - you can just see that the grains are different. The body bag doesn't even look like it contains a body. Seriously, look at that hand - can you seriously not see that it's clearly been cut using some form of picture-editting program?

They made up this story because they find it funny making fans go into a panic. It really isn't. It was made to fool you, but little do they know that we're too smart to fall for it.
So this story is so fake. Like others have said, were he really dead it'd be ALL over the news.
