Alright...

So, I am on my second playthrough and I just got to the part where the garden was starting to fly. I never played with Rinoa on my first go around and I decided to choose her this time.

As I went out to view the outside of the now flying garden, with Rinoa, There was a scene I never caught the last time of the wind blowing and Rinoa standing near the edge and she's smiling and whatnot.

Has anyone else missed this scene due to not playing with her? Any other scenes I may have missed out on?

Not sure if there are ny others, I dont think there are anyway. I always took Rinoa, until my last playthrough when I thought ooh, I wonder if they fuck up and still include the scene

Apparently not :monster:

I took Rinoa in my first couple of play throughs since logically she had no reason to go to the Missile Base. But in my last play through, I left her there, so I didn't see that scene with Rinoa's hair blowing in the wind.

But then I have to wonder; the ending CGI scene has that particular scene of Rinoa in it, so if you don't see it in your play through, would it screw up your ending?

And I didn't know this, but certain scenes can be different too.
Like, when the gang have that concert for Squall and he and Rinoa have a chat, usually I see her being bitchy to him about his indifferent attitude (and also one of the reasons why I disliked her), but one time I saw she was very sweet and said something like "we love you and care about you" and that made me go "whaaaa" o_O

That's because you have the songs mixed up. How well their conversation goes depends entirely upon the songs. Mixing them up makes them go badly, playing the ballad makes it go as good as it can, and the other folky type song makes it go kinda okayish.

Also if you take Irvine with you to Balamb he fires his gun in Zell's room. I think there are a few more scenes like that.

There are periodic alterations, based on party members, throughout the game.

The Irish jig thing gives the best scene, although it drags on a bit
The ballad one makes Rinoa get abit antsy - normally she likes the song but not tonight apparently and she cuts the convo short
Mixed music just fucks the convo up completley, I think it's rather short aswel :wacky:

That when you split up for the missile mission, don't think I ever had that happen, I don't think I ever took Irvine haha

I always took her to the Garden because she was mostly my weakest character ... I always tended to have a bit of bother with that boss at the missile base. xD

So, no, I've never missed that scene but I was aware that you needed Rinoa to be in your party for it to occur. Obviously.

Awh man. I've never taken Irvine with me during that period of the game. Lmao. Maybe next time I will. =/.

And my last playthrough I had the music mixed up in the concert and Rinoa was being extra bitchy. >__<;;

I did that by accident my last playthrough and I hadn't saved it for ages either so there was no way I was turning it off for the sake of picking one wrong bloody instrument, I really fancied the nice scene aswel....oh well, theres always next time.....

The scene after they return from the missile base is a little different with Rinoa aswel depending on whether or not you take her

[/spoiler]
Actually, the ending stay's the same no matter what. So if you never had that scene, it still shows in the end. Doesn't really matter that much I think. That whole part of the game is better with Rinoa anyway cause of the whole tour of garden thing.

I never saw that scene, and I DID take Irvine and Rinao with me to Garden. Ouch man... Kinda hurts to know that after playing the game to death there are STILL things I haven't seen/done XD

To be fair, Squall's always an ass. Taking his "attitude" along with bad music ringing in your ears... I think even Rinoa has her limits XD

Oh yeah you're talking about the part where Rinoa either stays in the party or goes to the missile base. I've never sent her to the missile base team, so I've always had that one scene play. And no it won't screw up the ending becuase of this if you didn't take her. Hmmm I really wish I would have taken Irvine now hearing what Magic Dirt says, that would have been a funny scene to watch in Zell's room. BTW does anyone know what happens when you reject Rinoa's asking for a walk when the garden is flying and she comes to you're room a second time.:highfive:
