Monarchies of God: Hawkwood's Voyage

Just to update you guys and gals, we're pretty darn close to starting this thing. The only major characters that aren't taken are Hawkwood, Murad, and the Blind Man. Hawkwood and Murad *have* to be taken before we start, but if no one claims the Blind Man, that's not as essential. I can either have someone else take him, or I'll take him myself. Also, if no one claims Hawkwood or Murad by the time we start, I'll probably take them as well, as well as any unclaimed minor characters.

I'd also like to wait a bit to let Gun Jack/Shadow Jet get his internet situation straightened out. I'm hopeful he'll be back soon to get involved.

August 15th will be the absolute latest we start this thing, but keep your eyes and ears open in case we do get started early. I'll keep you all updated as we move along.

But...I think I really want to try my hand at Richard, because he seems fascinating...Orkh would be great for me to have too, seems like someone I can pull off with ease.

I'm only going to be taking two, though...as much as I've RPed, I've never actually done a forum-based RP, so...I'm going to feel like a n00b for a little bit.

Physical Description: A typical Hebrian of noble birth, Hernan Sequero has dark hair and eyes with slightly tanned skin. He is of average height, and is well-built with a soldier's bearing.
Personality: Sequero is a typical noble who treats commoners with a little bit of contempt, though he does well to temper it aboard the ship. He has a passion for horsebreeding.
 
Galm, thanks for signing up. You can sign up for 1 major and/or 2 minors, and I would suggest grabbing at least a major, so you can be a little more involved. But it's up to you.

Classification: Major
Occupation: Noble
Starting Location: Hebrionese Palace, Abrusio
Physical Description: Tall and thin, Murad has a long scar on one side of his face. He has shoulder length greasy black hair. He is not considered to be an attractive man, though he has never wanted for the attentions of the fairer sex.
Personality: Murad has a personality to match his features. He is power-hungry and driven. He longs to up his status in the world. He is a minor noble and wants to change that.
 
And with that, I hereby declare this RP ready to start. Any unclaimed characters will be played by me and/or will be opened up to anyone who loses a character to the icy hand of death and/or will be available for anyone else who wishes to join late.

It will be something of a staggered start. Some of your characters will make their appearances later than others. You will receive a PM when it's your time to enter the fray. Look for them to start popping up within the next 24 hours.

I've seen Shadow Jet around a bit, so I'm hoping his internet issues are straight. Justin can jump in as soon as he gets back from his world tour, in the meantime, I'll work around his absence. Hopefully everybody else is ready to rock, and quite possibly roll.
