Most anoying Final Fantasy character

Most annoying from these is??

Yes and no.

Final Fantasy X Rikku = a little girl (fifteen years old) acting like a little girl. Acceptable behavior for the most part.

Final Fantasy X-2 Rikku = a girl almost a legal adult who previously engaged in very mature and adult-like behavior, acting even more like a little girl than she did before.

They are practically different characters, and I consider the latter a LOT more annoying.

Now Yuna... well. I don't think I even need to bring up the insane amount of flaws that went into her personality transer from X to X-2.

But whatev. :P I'm just bitching because I have nothing else to do. Nothing personal, Beastin.
 
Rinoa always gets my vote for most annoying.
Reasons:
1. Saving her 7 times.
2. Her 'brilliant' ideas.
3. Her selfishness and stubborn attitude that always gets herself, and others in trouble.
4. Her weapon. It's the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. It's a sharp-edged boomerang that manages to always land back on her wrist, without harming her. And Angelo? ...Does a doggie rocket-launcher really hurt more than being hit with that impossible bladed-boomerang?
5. The way she treats Squall. She flirts with him, even though she had feelings for Seifer, and uses Squall to be on the dance floor, so she could find Headmaster Cid. If that wasn't bad enough, she SOMEHOW persuades Cid, a leader of HIGHLY PAID MERCENARIES to ...LIBERATE an entire town, for little, to no money. I think she might have been a Sorceress before she got Edea's powers to pull that off. =/
6. "SAVE ME, SQUALL!"

I could go on and on about Rinoa, but I'll leave it at that.

Lucrecia was the close runner-up. She really cheapened Vincent's tragedy for me. Her dialogue consisted of "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." ...Well, that wasn't good enough. She just made it impossible for me to feel for Vincent anymore, because she was such a horrible character.

I'm surprised Yuna wasn't on this list, because she had similar dialogue with Lucrecia. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry!" and "Thank you, thank you SO much...!" Of course, FFX-2 Yuna was a bit of a different story. =/

I'm still wondering why Auron's on that list...he barely talked long enough to be annoying.
 
I don't particularly find any of those characters annoying. But if I had to choose, it would have to be Rinoa because it was ridiculous how many times I had to rescue her.

I think you list needs more choices ;)
 
I've went for Aerith. I just can't take to her anymore, for some reason. This pedestal she's been put on really needs demolished, I think. You don't exactly see this much love for characters like Auron or Tidus, or even Gabranth, who just accomplished so much more and were so much more easy to like.

As a side note, the best character on that list, in my opinion, was Tidus.

Ironically enough, Lucrecia looks like Yuna in a labcoat with a giant weird thing of queer on the back of her noggin.

I'd say Cloud.... but i only hate him because he sucks and he's an overhyped character. he's really not all that annoying. :wacky:

But ya, Lucrecia, indefinitely. Not only was her character dull and hard to comprehend (unless SE is trying to tell us that she's a stupid bitch :wacky:), but I find it horribly irritating that she bears such a strong resemblance to Yuna.

Which is who I would have voted for if she had been on the list.

the majority of pairing fans of Final Fantasy VII are cleriths, and they hate Tifa for wearing revealing clothes and having a nice pair of tits. :wacky:

I think it's safe to say that any main character in FF7 has been put on a pedestal. But, Aerith has always been put on the 'holy' sort of pedestal, and was held in high regard for her death. Tifa, was always the 'hot' one, and the 'tough one.' But, she really did bother me at times. The whole: "Come back when you're SOLDIER 1st Class!" was a bit cruel. She pretty much said: "Come back a hero, or don't bother. ;D"

Haha, the Spoony Bard did have his moments. xD

Um...how so? Tifa is generally either viewed as the badass or the slut. Aerith has much more fans bawwing over her because she's the one who died, and hell, look at Crisis Core. She was a pretty big part of that. And in AC her stupid ghost kept popping up everywhere. SE has clearly put her on a pedestal as high as Sephiroth's, as have many fans.

That's another reason why she's so damn annoying and why I voted for her. I'm just plain tired of seeing her face plastered on everything.
 
I chose Lucrecia simply because she was so ennoying the Dirge of Cerberus how she kept appearing and saying the same things over and over such as 'I'm so sorry' I was so upset for Vincent yes, I couldn't believe he got shot and everything for her. >_<
 
yuffie although i like her, had her annoying moments..(stealing my materia in wutai, and being annoying but cute in CC)

Tifa has more screen time in AC, as did other characters who supposedly "died". And both were in CC. CC was about Zack though, and Zack once dated Aerith, so she should have been included in CC. Aerith was important to the plot in FFVII, and not just because she died.

Ah but with Tifa the fans have put her on a pedastal. :P LOL if you insult her her fans go a little nuts and resort to insulting Aerith, kind of like you just did. ;) Tifa is basically the girl in FFVII that you can't insult without having about a million fans jump on her. And if you go to an anime con, her face is EVERYWHERE. There's about ten Tifa cosplayers to one Aerith cosplayer and if you go into the dealers room, a lot of the bootlegged crap has her face on it. Aerith is rarely ever seen.

I'd say Steiner-FFIX! God, his armor was bloody loud when he's running. I really wanted to put a pillow over my head haha! He may have the loud armor but he's a hell of a good fighter whenever I combine his attacks with Vivi <3

I totally disliked his attitute towards Zidane. Its like the "You have no right to speak to me" kind of thing. And well, loud armour.
Other than that, he's probably the strongest melee warrior in IX... And my most frequently used character, despite.

No it's all good. Just sharing our views on this. I understand where you and others say that I shouldn't have included both titles by her name. No hard feelings in this, I see your point. My mistake.

I insult Aerith not because I'm a Tifa fan, but simply because I have always found her to be an annoying character, that's the main difference between me and Tifa fans. Not only that, everything you just said there is applicable to Aerith fans. If I replaced "Tifa" with "Aerith" in that last sentence of yours, it would still be true.

Well I've never been to an anime con, but I do know I've seen just as many Aerith cosplays and fanarts on the internets as I have Tifa. I wouldn't know about the bootleg stuff, so I'll take your word for it.

Such a good point. Ashe is easily the worst female character SE has ever created. She was nothing but an ungrateful bitch who didn't give two shits about the citizens of her country, all she wanted was nethicite and Rabanastre back because it was hers. Did she care that she was being manipulated to do it all so that humans would remain powerless to control their own history? Nope, she went right ahead and kept doing what she wanted.
 
I was tempted to put Lucrecia (grrrrr....) but I opted for Steiner instead. His whining hardly ceased throughout the game!!! He was a good character in battle, but his character was so thick-headed and obstinate, he just wouldn't let up over Zidane.

Ouchie why is Tidus in this poll?? >_<
