No you don't win at this thread. Good God, someone had to inflate your e-ego and make come in here and flippeth my lid D: -ismad-

Me ego is about as inflated as it can get, he didn't inflate it any more than it already was :wacky:

Pfft, complaining about double wielding? OMG, big deal? Does every final fantasy have like..loads of characters double wielding? Noooooooo, nooooooo they don't. So yeah, I have to lol at that comment. Nothing personal, you know, erm, you know how I feel when it comes to FFXII bashing. :wacky:

Just saying how it would have been nice to see some double-wielding instead of a ton of useless weapons. We haven't seen double-wielding in a main FF since IX. I guess they halfway fixed it in the international version, since you can control guests and could keep Reddas from being a nuisance.

And yes, we all know you have an irrational love for a disappointing, ill-planned, rushed game.

1-2hrs to take on Yiazmat? Dude, I so did not even think it was possible to defeat him that quickly o.o

Oh, it takes people LONGER than that? Shit, I thought that was the normal time. Thank you for making my argument stronger :neomon:

You complain a lot. Heck, even more so then me :wacky:

Go to sleep lovey. Before you explode :wacky:

'Tis my forte. And it's too early to go to bed :wacky:

*Adds poll to thread*

Most infuriating FF was 12 for me. I couldn't even finish it cause I got bored of walking all over the place. XD

III could also be infuriating at times because some of the monsters were quite difficult and there was no save points.

Why thank yew for adding the poll, and also for furthering my point on the exploration :elmo:

I can't believe I didn't think of this before, but here's reason 13 to add to why XII was infuriating:

It took ridiculous amounts of EXP to lvl up, and monsters barely gave out any. The embroidered tippet doubles EXP earned...well when I used the Negalmuur auto-levling trick, I started at lvl 42. With all three of my characters equipped with a tippet, it took leaving the PS2 on all night for them to increase just 20 lvls. It took another 48 hours to get them to low 90's.

That's ridiculous. 48 hours is more than most RPGs have in actual story-related gameplay. In any other FF it would have taken half as long -__-;

I said that Tactics was the most infuriating because it was the only one that actually got me stuck at parts. Great game, love the hell out of it, but I would get so frustrated.

And yes, we all know you have an irrational love for a disappointing, ill-planned, rushed game.

Lol, whatever. There's plenty of people out there that thought it was a good enough game.

Tired of walking everywhere? nothing stopping you from using Airships and Teleportation crystals. Or a Chocobo.

EDIT: Thought I'd add something else. I hated in every other FF continuously walking over boring, dull World Maps. -_-

III could also be infuriating at times because some of the monsters were quite difficult and there was no save points.

Goodlord, how could I forget about this -_-

That last dungeon was an absolute nightmare, there was nothing worse than dying in the world of darkness (repeatedly, I may add) and having to go threw it all again. The amount of times my DS nearly went out the window.....

ff12 cause the hunts and raregames were to hard to find. It took hours of running.

For me I'd have to say it was X, it was the first game where I could genuinely say that I couldn't be bothered to do half of the side quests and what not. As much as I liked Blitzball for a bit, I couldn't find it in me to get all of Wakka's shizzle. The monster colloseum also proved to be a bit of a pain in the nethers, having to search for a good number of the same species when they're rare enough as it is.

Throw in the fact that you're forced to use the same three characters in underwater sections and I was a rather unhappy bunny, it meant Tidus got let out of the beating room...

I loved all of the final fantasy games, especially viii because its the best hands down.

but the one that probably gave me the most trouble, was X-2!

the missions were sometimes very vague when they gave you clues on what you were supposed to do, and some of the optional bosses in side quests were about impossible!

but the most infuriating part of the game was trying to get 100% for an overall game completion. that is probably the most impossible thing to do ever!

FFIII was also very irritating for me. I utterly despise job systems, and the no saving thing in dungeons really pissed me off.

It was really challenging when compared to other FFs =/

loved ffx-2, but its like . . .

you play it over and over
and you still dont do what you played it over for
so you play it like 128934719238047921874048397 times and still have lots to do.

Eventually voted VII. Haven't played enough of I to consider voting for it.

I wasn't sure how much a game could make want beat the clerk who sold it to you with the game case until FFX.

During the course of the game, I smacked two holes in my bedroom wall (once on accident... kind of), screamed at my telle more than I ever have, contemplated MURDERING all of Square Enix's employee's, and cried more than humanly possible.

And that was all while earing exp for WAKKA.

I would have to say FF12 because I simply couldn't stand the gameplay.

FF7 would be a close second though. I hated the fact that when you were in a cave, and you would go to a big area, your Character was only a cenimeter on the screen, so it was just annoying. Also, the movements just aren't that good. Lastly, there were far too many unnecessary things in the game. For example, I didn't see any point in having you collapse in the snowy area, especially the one where you have to put flags down to keep up with where you are. That whole concept was just pointless.

I say that FFX-2 is the most infuriating. You do just about the same exact thing every single mission and the side missions are sooooo monotonous that my eyes literally started to bleed! Even when I got fed up with the game and desided to use the infinite health cheat, A MONSTER STILL WAS ABLE TO KILL ME!!!!!! Shocked at that, i went to gamestop the next day and traded it for a copy of FF Anthology for PS1.

It was kinda hard to see your character it some points of the game...like on mountains or bridges...it was too small or would blend in the background. And that snowy area was pure evil.

lawl, the code probably was incorrect, or your cheat device was messed up. No loss trading it in for Anthology though :wacky:

That was my point exactly lol.

I don't see what's wrong with FFX... best FF game ever!

Mine was probably X-2.... I hated trying to get 100%! It was bloody horrendous...

Though FFVII was a nightmare, because I'm a collect freak. And I wanted to get all Guardian Forces, all Cards, and all Magazine items.... Bleugh.

Tactics is annoying, because there really isn't a place to train... (Tactics Advanced was amazing. <3 I'm just sad I lost it...)

I'm going to say FFVI...and only because of magus tower. I actually got so fed up trying to pass that dungeon that I sat the game down and haven't played it for over a year now...
