Most shocking Final fantasy moment?

This.
The Ziekden Fortress incident and its aftermath, the execution site gag,
Wiegraf merging with Belias
, pretty much anything to do with Ramza's family, and Ovelia's little episode at the end of the game come to mind for me.

As for the other games...
II: Lamia Queen,
Joseph and Minwu's sacrifice
.
V: Lots of things in this light-hearted game...
X: The big reveal about Auron, Tidus, Yuna, and the Final Summoning and what was really up with the Church of Yevon.
 
For me it has to be VI's
celes's suicide
it made me think what the fuck are you doing? I really didn't expect it because up til then she had kind of been a character a bit cold like Lightning, who was going to
commit suicide.

And talking of Lightning another thing that shocked me was this:

Well the ending of 10 was shocking because Tidus was the main character and i was like "Wait WTF!! HE'S NEVER COMING BACK!!" (Didn't get perfect ending)

Also when you find out that Cecil and Golbez are brothers that was messed up.

Probably the most shocking was when i found out Kuja was male.
 
Cloud dressing up as a girl. :gasp: This strong, tough guy who looks like he's spent hours in the gym and doesn't take no for a answer, dresses up in a pretty purple dress and wears make-up and flowery perfume. I thought that Barret was going to follow because he's tough looking too, but alas no cigar. :ness:

But still. What the hell. ? :britt: I think... I'm still in shock. -__-
 
For me there's only been 3 FF games that have shocked me. Spoilery alert.
In VIII:
- The same orphanage part made me go “WTF?!“ mostly because it seemed too ridiculous to be true. I stood there at eight repeatedly asking my mom to help me understand what just happened lol.
- The progression of this game all the way to the last disk. I was pretty shocked that I had gone from a futuristic military setting to looking for some witch in a castle in another dimension...WTF?
VI
- The whole world destruction scene blew my mind. I just sat there like “WTF...”
Tactics
- "teta saved me." WTF I NEED DETAILS!
- The betrayal of the Cardinal in chapter 2. And that Ovelia death sentence fake out battle -__-.
- Fighting Zalbag :sad3:
- The revival of Malak. Had my favorite song of the game. I actually got teary eyed lol
- The games ending and the text that followed. I was all "Nuuuuu Delita, Ovelia, Olan, the rest of Ramza's party." :sad3:
