i was playing this yesterday and i realised that alot of people that are my friends or other people i know who play this, have moved on from this game and dont play it anymore... if your friends or yourself no longer play this game please tell us, i want to get a poll of how many friends of each, and how many friends in total... if it isnt on the poll please post the number, thank you :)

Only some of my friends ever played this game, and they all moved on. So that's around 21 people including me. I just didn't really like it at all :mokken: I'd pick it up and play again if it was one of those amazing FFs that go down in history, you know? But this is just not that good enough of a game for me...

well i moved on, as have three of my friends i have spoked to about this game, it's not that many, as alot of my friends don't play the FF games, but the ones who do have completed this and are now just jaming on the likes of 13 and replaying the earlier games, although personally i have moved onto Dragon age: Origins.

I still have it.I never completed it as I got hung up on Zodiark and the hidden area of the Henne mines.
Been involved in a lot of controversies and disputes on other boards about this game and a recent one here where a mod had to intervene where another poster went too far in criticizing me about the game.
So I don't have much interest in completing it right now.

I'm replaying FFX-2, I have FFV and VI I might resume playing as well.

I might not bother to ever try to finish it.

i've moved on from almost all of my console games, though i'd play them again if i had nothing to do. that's kinda the fate of offline games, unless its Disgaea.

I haven't move on, nor has any of my friends....Well, might be different here, but on most of the sites I visit, they still love the game as I do and are replaying it all the time.

I completed the game (have one more Esper (Ultima) to get) and then I'm 100% done and I still reply it, 'cause its a lovely game :)

My friends also reply it and still love it.

Hope I answered right. I don't know any of my friends that have moved...oh wait, just one. I'll just vote that then lol

This Game began the downdward spiral that has left Main sequence FF Titles on the verge of collapse, FFXII was a major shift for the series......never before had a game taken so much control from the player and offer very little strategic elements in return.

If you choose to release primary control of characters in battle, it must be supplemented with other areas of of involvement......but there were none!. Gambits make no sense, they take critical situation choice and replace it with CPU controlled timing and circumstance.

In a Turn based game strategy through choice is paramount, because no control is given for attack or defence and other actions like Evasion and luck are governed by % chance, the choices players make is the only input they have in FF games.

But Gambits went and eliminated all of this.....leaving the player with minimal interaction and just directing the path of Characters, even this had no bearing because moving the character had strategic benefit what so ever.

So whilst I played this game to its utmost level, defeating all Marks and getting all the best Weapons and such.......it was an empty experience.

And most of my friends felt this way..........after I harangued them into submission!

this is probably the only game I didnt play religiously til I beat it then fire straight back up for the 100% run

I did start a new play through a bit back, so I DO go back to it on occassion. I just wasn't feeling it my first playthrough. I'd almost beat it before I got my head round the gambits and wotnot

It just irritated me so much, I couldnt enjoy it. I put the game to the side for 3 months when I got stuck on the leviathan

Buuuuut I have learned to enjoy it, and I will go back to it. It's a fun game, shame about the story like

No 0 option?

I still play it, and on top of that, I don't know anybody else that did/does play it. Personally, I enjoy the game. It's nice having something that is different enough to not make the rest seem sorta tedious.

I thought I had moved on (after paying through it four times), but now i got my hands on the internacional release, so I'll play it again after beating Dragon Quest VIII, and possibly Shin Megami tensei Nocturne.

I also insist this poll should have a "0" option. Anyhow, I played FFXII only once and then after trying to make the quests thought it was not worth my time. Being in the era we are now in which most of the industries are aiming towards Online Gaming, I see that most offline games will share the same fate, whether they are good or not. It is simply a matter of time.

Oh, now I remember why I didn't play it more than a few times.... (not full play, just used saved games to play some random parts)

Yes, I hated the Gambits. What happened to the good old Renzokuken and Omnislash? I miss those days. :sad3:

mk soz ill try to put in a 0 option, soz bout that, please do vote on how many... (0-10+)

well iv never had to edit b4, how do i edit it? to add a 0 option....... untill i do add a 0, plz just post a 0 in the comment instead of voting, ty :)

Ultima is a real pain in the ass. I beat it last night...The damn thing goes through these annoying cycles of not letting you use weapons / magic / items and so on....Real annoying...It also put the HP decreaser thingy on you, and the MP decreaser. Crazy times.

I know only one person who has truly moved on. I've beaten the game twice now and I'm starting a new game on The Zodiac Job System, as are two of my friends.

I still replay it to this day, so I guess I haven't really moved on.

The game wasn't all that bad, it's just the story needed some work (and the time limit on how long you can ride chocobos was fail. D:<). Putting all that aside, I really enjoyed playing it and I still do. I have three friends that played FFXII and only one of them gave up on it because she thought the cutscenes were too long.

I don't actually have this game at the moment, although I did recently complete it again. Not 100%, that's for the next time I buy it...but I did end up with the Zodiac Spear- the only things I needed were Ultima and Zodiark

Most of my friends are hardcore FF XII fanboys so they haven't really moved on at all and they still reply it whatever chance they can get. However I do have a friend who only played through it once and said that she liked it as a game, but not as a Final Fantasy. I haven't moved on either, FF XII in this opinion isn't the best Final Fantasy game in the series, but it's still fun to play, and I love the characters, like Basch, larsa and penelo. They are awesome.

I've traded into EBGames, but I haven't "moved on". I was actually thinking about getting it again. I want the International version.

Only one of my friends had quit playing it, and that was because she had no idea how to play most of the games. All of my other friends have either heard of it but never played it or they love it just about as much as I do. I don't think I could ever move on from Final Fantasy though, considering I've been playing it since I was 4 .
