I always thought that in all the final fantasies 9999 was the max HP (I guess x-2 was an exception) but I noticed a few days ago that if I have a character with 6k HP and then a bubble belt on, when the monster hits for 1k damage I still stay at 9999 HP, so it's like...going above the 'limit' but just not showing it really. Just a fun fact I wanted to share...

yes your hp goes above the limit in ff12,ffx-2 ff10 as well
It just dosnt show up on battle screen on ff12
i you go into menu it should say the true amount

Yea, I noticed that too. It does suck that it doesn't show it any higher and... it really sucks that it can't go even higher than that. :( I noticed when I used Curaja and it hit my party for 9,999 HP and... yea... they still had about a fourth left of their HP unhealed.

just think that the most powerful monster in game can take you in just one hit all of your current HP.

Hell, at level 99 he can take it in two. lol

nay, I' have my party average lv 85 and they can take like 5 hits of yiazmat so then I can use curaja. But that's if he doesn`t hit me with his random death strike.

Omega Mark XII is the strongest. Yaizmat is the top mark but not the top boss. Yaizmat has more HP... but Omega is stronger.

Haven`t tried this one yet, gotta beat yiazmat but now I'm working in my senior project for the university so my parents are keepin my ps2 because they think it doesn´t allow me to concentrate.

Now I'm feeling like a 15 years old girl.

Dude, I saw your picture in the picture thread. If you're a 15 year old girl than that makes me like Pewee Herman on dope or... a corpse. But yea, the game is long. School gets in the way. Boo for us. lol

over 9999hp sounds awesome lol. ive only just got my copy and so my char are only like lvl 25 with like 900hp or so at the moment lol thats pretty sad compared to 9999hp.lol

I remember there being a way to double your hp twice in XII. I think I did it once with some equip item (not bubble belt) and then I cast bubble. I had tons of hp and it didn't run out for a while.

I could be wrong though.... I haven't played the game in a few months.

So wait, you're saying you can go over 9,999 HP...but it just doesn't show numerically on our HP bar? I know that when I use arise it heals for 13,000+ sometimes, and all my guys show HP of 9,999.

i think its because of the place they didnt have more place for one number because of the health-bar

I don' tthink you can double bubble yourself... but yea, that is how you get there. There's almost no way you can beat the top baddies in the game without bubble though. You're max HP is only around 6,000 or something... but with double it's over 9,999

theoretically, as in I havnt tried it, you could try putting on a bubble belt and then casting bubble on someone, perhaps that would double bubble, but then itd be hard to figure out if there double bubbled or not........

I tried casting Bubble twice on a character last night and it didn't "miss" but then again it didn't affect my HP. I think the same would apply to Bubble Belt and the spell Bubble. I don't think any form of Bubble can be active at the same time as another. Or x2 in effect.

But hey I'd love to be proven wrong, would be sweet to see some uber HP going on!

9999 hp is awesome but whats the point of having that much hp i dont depend on my hp to defeat the bosses i depend on mp to defeat them
