Mines on its last legs. like, its fucked, ive never seen it so fucked even when its riddled with viruses, it's just gunna conk any day now, I can smell it in the air

Anyway, i have a budget of about 400 quid, give or take. I just dont wanna go into a shop and get bamboozled by some sales bullshit

As long as its not slow and shit, I dont really care if it's anything fancy, as long as its half decent and I can still ebay with ease, couldnt give a shit about gaming on it either. It just cant be slow as fuck. it'l do my fucking head in.

I had a look online and its all laptops, desk tops, macs, all in ones. wtf is an all in one?!

Some one just .....help :rage:

P.S. Am UK, so UKers only please - im not interested in someone coming along saying OH YEAH GET THIS ITS 600USD because over here it will be 20 times more expensive, and id still have to find who stocks it

Im not computer friendly at all, i literally need guiding to the check out on this one. I can do store pick ups at most large places, comet, dixons pc world etc. Just anywhere local or manchester really...

if you are just looking for a pc to browse the internet with you should just go for a pc with a decent amount of RAM, like 2GB, then go for a processer at about 2GHz... go dual core if you wana run basic games..

if you want i'll take a look on some websites when I get home.... i'm in college right now XD so i shouldn't even be on here :P

hope this helps for now

i shouldnt be on either, im in work :wacky:

that means bog all to me, but if im out and about shopping, il write it down and collar a sales dude somewhere....

I mostly just need it for browsing the net, though I do do alot of downloading, not sure if that makes an difference, my pc is well slow at it - not sure if thats my pc, internet or both though..

2GB RAM
Around 250GB HDD
Core2Duo CPU 2.7 or anything around it
Graphics card 256MB (Not really necessary since you don't care about gaming but 256MB should be dead cheap by now)
(Look for those features most likely, if you want just a PC for browsing internet and what not.)

Those should be for less than 400 say like 250 or anything of the like. Also if you had viruses, I advise you to get an anti-virus... even a super computer would render a not-super computer without virus protection.

My original stuff that I had on my computer was for around 450 pounds 2 years ago, and here it is:
4GB DDR2 RAM
1TB HDD
1024 MB Geforce 8500 GT
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8Ghz

Oh, you'd probably want Ringo's advice regarding this, since he knows a lot about this.
