Hey all, this is FORK! I'm new to Final Fantasy itself. I used to own x2 (the one with all of the girls) just to see what its like and I wasn't too fond of the gameplay. So I was watching my friend play FF12 and I loved it.. I'm getting in within a week because I get paid, and I hope I can learn a lot about the game from you all!

Thanks in advance for welcoming teh noob that is me.
^_^

Thanks everyone, well I just got FF12 and I was wondering if its worth getting the guide to it or not. As I said before I'm new to the game and don't have much of an idea as to what is going on.

Since you are new to the FF side of gaming I would highly suggest getting a strategy guide for it. A few more suggestions on some FF games would be VII (7), VIII(8), IX(9), X(10), X-2(10-2) and FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus. These also have some excellent storylines and different characters and are the games I most enjoy playing. I really hope you enjoy yourself here and enjoy playing FF. :)

I would have to agree with LadyArith and SSJ3SEPHIROTH in to get it but to try it yourself first to see you can get the handle of it. The guide would be a great asset though in order to get the most out of the game.

Hey welcome to the forums, and FF is awesome, you have really been missing out, X-2 really wasnt that good, but all the others ones are spectacular in their own way. FFXII is awesome too, im 40 hours into it so far, so if you need help up to then, im here.

My advice is just to try your damn hardest to play it yourself and if you complete it, then get the guide. Instructions are difficult to follow without giving it a go first. As a UK poster I have to say I'm extremely jealous of the lot of you. I have to wait till like March, and then It'll probably get pushed back a couple of...... years.
