Hello, Im new to the game, this will be my first run through. I have a question about The Magus Sisters; Are they only available in the Int. version, or am I safe playing on the NA?

Also, me being new to game, If you could offer ANY advice that might help, and I mean anything you can think of that maybe you wish you did your first time playing, PLEASE, post it here. Thanks you.

I'm pretty sure that you can get it in all versions, the only difference in versions is that there are no dark aeons in NTSC version. Also, in future this belongs in the Help Booth. :gasp:

I am so sorry, I did not see the forum . I should have looked harder, Thanks though. I request this be moved so other people can input advice into the thread. Thanks you.

The only thing affecting the Magus Sisters that's different is their overdrive. In the NA version, it's one hit for just under 4 times the power of a regular physical attack. In the PAL/Int version, it's six hits for about 5/8ths the power of a regular physical attack each. In both cases, this is based on Cindy's strength.

Yes, the Magus Sisters are available in every version (they're at least available in the version that I play, here in the States).

As far as general advice goes...make sure you get every Destruction Sphere treasure in the temples, that's useful later...I'm not sure what else to tell you, FF Ten is pretty straightforward. :wacky:

I'm not exactly sure how much you know about getting the Magus Sisters, so I'll give you everything. First off, they're located in the Remium Temple, which is found in the Calm Lands. Go to the Travel Agency in the center, leave and go to the left to a girl with a chocobo and ask her if you can ride it. Now, ride the chocobo towards the entrance to the Calm Lands (the one that leads to Macalania). Go to the right of the entrance to find a chocobo feather on the ground, press X on it and the chocobo will fly downward on a new path, this is the path that leads to Remium Temple. Once you're there go inside and find the door to the Chamber of the Fayth. It says there is a seal on the door.

The seal is broken with 2 items, the Flower Scepter and the Blossom Crest. In order to get the Flower Scepter, you'll have to defeat Belgamine's Aeons again (she is the lady in front of the Chamber in the temple), or more specifically, her version of Bahamut. You'll have to battle her Valefor, Ifrit and Ixion first though. Once done, you can break the seal a little, but not enough. The Blossom Crest takes a little more work, you'll have to start capturing monsters for the Monster Arena. I believe what you have to do is capture at least 1 monster from 10 different areas, so you'll have to do a little navigating. Once done, talk to the Monster Arena guy and he'll give you the Crest. Now you just go back to Remiem and break the seal, no battles or tricks, they're yours after that.

Hopefully that helps!

Thanks for the move Auron! Re: to Blackstang98, I was under the influence that I had to fight some sort of "Dark Aeons" to obtain the Magus Sisters? If I am completely wrong on that, please let me know what these "Dark Aeons" are for and where I might fight them, also if they are in the NA version of the game.

The NA version doesn't have Dark Aeons, so you won't need to worry about them (they're in the European and Japanese versions). Aside from the battling you'll have to do for the Flower Scepter and Blossom Crest, you won't have to do any more than that. You won't even have to battle the sisters themselves. Once you break the 2 seals, you'll make it into the Chamber of the Fayth and you'll just acquire them, simple as that!

Ok, thanks for all your help. Im currently at the calm lands, but I haven't played lately. Im getting on right now and I am going to kill Belgimene ( I have no idea how to spell her name :D. ) at Remiem Temple.

P.S. - Sun Sigil?!?! WTF!? 0:0.0 as a time? My best is 23.3 :D I know balloons will decrease my time but wow.

It almost seems impossible for now, but you'll see it's not too bad. And to be technical, its supposed to be a time better than 0:0.0. If it equals 0:0.0, you won't get the Sun Sigil. If you're getting that low though, you should beat it. Once you know how to handle the chocobo and foresee the birds path, you'll get a better handle on it. When I do this, I tend to stay to the far left going down the flat part of the plains and the birds tend to not find you as much there. It also helps if your opponent is ahead when getting to the flat part as the birds seem to zero in on him more so than you. Anyways, it takes a little time and maybe a little luck with avoiding and getting balloons, but you'll get there. Best of luck!

You do not have to fight any Dark Aeons to get the Magus Sisters. However, if you miss the Besaid or Macalania Destruction Sphere treasures in the PAL/Int versions, you have to fight dark aeons before you can return to those temples. You need to get the treasures in order to get Anima. You can't get the Magus Sisters until you get Anima (and Yojimbo).

u need anima and yojimbo before u can get the magus sisters since u need ur own aeon of bel's to fight hers.
so to fight her anima, u urself need anima. same first time u defeat her, u dont fight the magus sisters first, but u recieve the crown thingy after u defeated i think bahamut or anima, then get the other thing to open the door to the magus sister's fayth.
get the magus sisters and fight her again and send her.
