It's more that the Jets have solid players all around, but no explosive players on offense. Really, if you look at the Jets offensively, who scares you? Sanchez? Not really. LDT? Past his prime, and has never performed in the playoffs. Edwards? A glorified possession receiver. So if their defense, which is usually very good, keeps them in games, their offense can just plug along and put a few points on the board. If the offense has to win the game because the defense can't hold, it ends up 45-3. It's the same formula the Ravens have used for the last 12-15 years. Which isn't surprising, considering where Rex Ryan was coaching before he went to New Jersey.
