No Over-Hyper Character?

Though they're not overly-hyper, Vaan and Penelo still fit the childish aspect of this character.

But I agree that the game was wanting of this type - you need optimists to balance out the brooders.
 
Even thought people hate these type of characters it would've been good for the atmosphere. At least I think so.

Vaan and Penelo were quite childish at times. How they talked in the background during the cutscenes.
