As for shiva being the only human-ish thing, how about Ramuh? Or Ifrit whom is a minotaur - half human half bull?

Shiva... well, because I do like the fact she's one of, if not THE only humanoid summon

That should say enough. But I never said she was exclusively the only humanoid.

I found Carbuncle the most useful...though It didn't deal damage it could prtect your party by putting them in Relfect, Vanish, Shell, or Haste if i remembered them correctly.
