Yes, thats right! Anyone remember there favorite childhood shows? Was anyone a fan of 80s and 90s Nickelodeon? Discuss your favorite shows when you were growing up!

Small list to refresh anyones memory. Bahh too long to list other shows and other shows besides Nickelodeon.
 
I have never been a huge nickelodeon fan. But there is one show on that list that I have loved since conception.

Rin and stimpy. ^.^
 
hey arnold and doug were the BEST. i still don't understand why they stopped airing them on nickelodeon, they're classics.
 
I remember some, but didn't really watched any of those. I'm just familiar with some of the titles, and I've seen several episodes of Hey Arnold! and Rugrats, but that's only because my younger siblings watched those. And not to mention that ALL the kids in my 5th grade class talked about Rugrats so much...so it brought back memories just now. xD
 
Ahhh! I love Ren and Stimpy! It was so gross and awesome. I remember the mud skipper, talking horse, the episodes where Ren and Stimpy fly into space and the weirdest things happen. They found a mountain of lost socks.

Hey Arnold was one of my favorite cartoons as well. I was disappointed when they stopped airing it.

A few other favorite childhood show was Freakazoid, Beetlejuice, and the Animaniacs.
 
Animaniacs was a classic! xD Gosh, the last time I saw that show was when I was around 9...Wakko was my favorite, of course, and I loved Wakko's Wish. =) Taz Mania was a fave show of mine as well. He's such a lovable creature.

I love shows from Warner Bros. It really sucks that they've stopped showing all those shows...and replaced them with dumb shows for kids nowadays. -_- And I mean, seriously dumb...especially the cartoon style (for instance, blue oval shaped character with eyes and mouth...I mean, what the hell is that supposed to be? Seems like the animators have gotten lazy or something.) The shows are just so undeveloped nowadays, IMO.

 
Oh you're slipping up, you didn't even put All That in your list! Good Burger and...shit, what was the one with Kenan as that lactose intolerant superhero? That sketch series was awesome too. And let's not forget other greats like:

I use to watch Warner bros cartoons as well. I love Looney tunes and Tiny toons as well. I loved Bugs Bunny and Daffy duck episodes where they were arguing what season it was.

I think the one your talking about is Foster's home for imaginary friends. Bleh, I don't like that show.

Thats why I stopped watching Nickelodeon and Cartoon network after 2000s. Sure, Sponge Bob, Courage the Courage the Cowardly dog a few others aren't too bad. Most cartoons are done so poorly and the idea is so terrible. I can't stand most new cartoons on Nickelodeon and Cartoon network.
 
I used to watch every show on that list except Kenan and Kel. I still watch Legends of the hidden temple and Guts on Nick Gas sometimes. It brings back memories. I love seeing the prizes that they give out, such as SNES games and LA Gear shoes.

Another of my favorites was Dexter's Laboratory before they ruined it. The first few seasons were awesome.

Nephry I hate you AGAIN....why did you have to remind me of that damned gnome show? Gnomes scare the bejesus out of me...except for the Travelocity gnome xD

OMG. I remember David the Gnome. I used to watch it whenever it was on, then wished I would find little gnomes running around in my backyard.

Ren and Stimpy is the greatest cartoon ever made. SRSLY. Rocko's Modern Life wins at life too....I miss it ;-; Animaniacs grew on me after a while. I loved Yakko (that's his name....right?). He had nice pants :monster:

I never watched Kenan & Kel. I think when that came out I was getting a little older.
 
I, on the other hand, loved Kenan & Kel. :monster: That show inspired to me to take a break from watching non-stop cartoons and just check out the 'real-people' shows. xD

I loved all the other ones like 'Angry Beavers', 'Aaah! Real Monsters', 'All That', 'Rocko's Modern Life'...those shows were classic and awesome. It's a shame all the shows Nick spews out these days is total crap.

Well...most of the shows anyway. -.-

I used to absolutely love Rocko's modern life. I still pretty much do, but I only catch it at like 2 in the morning. Angry Beavers was good, but my dad liked that more than me. Rugrats, too, that was good. Rocket Power as well.

But Rugrats and Rocket Power got REALLY annoying when they started playing every chance they got.

Now I barely ever seen cartoons on that station -_- it's all 'real people shows'
 
LOL Catdog. I loved that show when it was out. :monster: I used to watch in the mornings before going to school and get a good laugh out of it in the process. The jingle was pretty great too. xD

As for Spongebob, the first couple years it came out it was pretty decent, or maybe even above decent. But now the producers have degraded it so much that it seems like it should belong more in the 'ghey' area than anything.
