Frankie Boyle!

Anyone else met anyone famous? Big or small, mention them all!

I've also met Brian "Fire" Henderson from The Dykeenies (Scottish band) and the drummer whose name escapes me. <_<

I see a few folk about from like corrie and Waterloo road and Nora Batty used to come in the shop all the time, I saw some dude off the bill the other week as well, never spoke to any of them mind. Also, Sophie from Corrie, is shorter than she looks, AND she's weird, she was walking around asda singing to herself. Ca't say I've ever actaully MET anyone though, oh I scowled at a Man United player at Old Trafford thinking he was a criminal being escorted by security... he was blowing pink bubbles with his chewy, cant remember who it was now though :hmmm:

Oh! Back in the day when Oldham were top of the league, I met a couple of players at school, and one was mooching about one of the local farms, he said hello xD

I think the most famous person I've ever met is David Tua who won a bronze medal in the olympics in 1992 and once fought Lennox Lewis for the heavyweight title. I also met his trainer who won a silver medal at the olympics, and one of my friend's grandmothers won NZ's first olympic gold medal.
I've also met a couple off All Blacks, I'd name them but you'd not know who they are anyway. I've met a few league players as well and some guys in NZ bands. Unfortunately, I've not met Wayne Anderson yet, but oneday I hope it'll happen.

I met Johnny Yong Bosch, who was the Black Pwer Ranger in power Rangers and is now the voice actor for Ichigo in Bleach and Firion in Dissidia, which was amazing, since I've loved him since he was a Power Ranger, as well As Vic Mignogna and Caitlin Glass, who are Ed and Winry, respectively, In Full Metal Alchemist... I met them all at anime conventions, Which are LOADS of fun. I'm actually going to another this weekend, and Steven Jay Blum, who voiced Vincent in Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus, is going to be there.

When I was a little kid I met the voice of Gohan from Dragonball Z and I thought that was pretty awesome. I've met a few football players here and there, but I'm not really a footy fan so I didn't care. I met Jabba (a TV presenter who worked for Channel V and was on a show called Pizza ).

This year I had a chat with a few members from the band Yves Klein Blue after a gig. I also met the singer/lead guitarist from Wolfmother and my friend got a very awkward photo with him. Last week I was handing out flyers for a store I work at and I gave one to my State Premier Mike Rann. And just today I was handing out flyers again and I gave one to Peter Morrissey (some Australian fashion designer).

I met Ellie Simmonds (?) before and I even took a photo with her. In Iceland that was. She was the Paralympic swimmer who won gold in something. I also met the world's tallest man, he was in our flight but we didn't want to meet him face to face ):

@Kerrigan: Meanie! I want Frankie :gonk:

K, Ive meet Mighty Boosh cast, few writers, Alex Fergerson, some Corrie stars and some more Man United players.

I've met quite a few American football players in my day.. from Eli Manning to Dion Sanders, to quite others before their prime or hayday.

Living in Nashville I've seen quite a few stars in the open, but who cares right? =P I mean you got your country singer folks, then your actors here and there. They are pretty normal people to be quite honest.

I met matthew bellamy

in my dreams :monster:

But when I think about it, I can't really say I've met anyone famous unless the guys from the local news station count :elmo:

However, Dusty Gregory might be something to look out for. He's nothing special yet, but I think he's a pretty talented composer and guitarist. I've been trying for months to get him to record Lucy but he won't fucking do it :wacky:

I met Little Boots/Victoria Hesketh (the British electropop singer behind New in Town and Remedy).

She came to my college for some filming not too long ago, which she attended for sixth form herself. I think I've mentioned this before.

Basically she and I both come from Thornton-Cleveleys, near Blackpool in the UK! So naturally I am very supportive of her- and I'm glad her album and singles did rather well in the UK charts!

He also does Wolverine an awful lot....oaft :ryan:

Ohya. I forgot he's Wolverine too ♥

OH! I forgot to mention before. I once met John Barrowman, though at the time I had NO idea he was Captain Jack Harkness... I was in New York City on a choir trip, and we saw The Producers, on Broadway. and then after the show I saw the Head Nazi ( If you've seen the Producers it will make sense ;)) out in front of the theater and told him he was my favorite in the show, and then When I watched the Mathew Broderick/Nathan Lane film, I noticed the Head Nazi in the movie was the same actor. Months and months later I mentioned it to a friend. who promptly freaked out, as she loves Torchwood/Doctor Who. When She told me I had met Captain Jack.... I had a right fit. lol

I've met quite a few famous faces in my time.

Met all three band members of Keane after a charity gig they did two years ago on Halloween. We took pictures and chatted to them for a short while about the brilliant concert they did. I've also been fortunate to meet Scouting For Girls when they signed their signatures on a new single I bought at HMV. But I couldn't stay long because the queue was really long.

I've also seen people from Coronation Street and Waterloo Road. Saw the headmistress of Waterloo Road a couple of months back in Arndale at Millie's Cookies. She had her hat on, but my dad pointed her out lol. And Kelly, I saw Brooke Vincent (the one who plays Sophie) at Alton Towers a while back. She was dead loud and is supposed to be somewhat of an idiot, actually. My sister kind of knows her and says she gets plastered all the time or something like that ...

Keep in mind folks that this is in the post count section and any one-liner and/or spammy posts, that are not relevant to the thread, being seen posted in here will be deleted.

Only met one person and it was, Shinya from Dir en grey!
I asked for a photo and got one. :-) I'd post it here but I look hideous! =D Nnnn, I was so excited when I met him. He's so tall and skinny, lol. D:

I have only met one famous person, but it was awesome. I met Christopher Walken in D/FW airport while we were waiting to get on the same plane. We ended up talking for like 20 min, he was a really cool dude.

I've met Brian Jacques (Redwall series author), which was a huge thing for me at the time because I was religiously collecting all of his books.

I've also met Don Burge (paleontologist who discovered the Utahraptor :p ) and had a water bottle thrown at me by Sam Totman of Dragonforce during a concert. Does that count?

Scariest meeting I've had...was Dalip Singh. He's actually quite soft spoken and his english isn't the best..he's a rather nice guy.

But then there's the fact that at my height (6'7")...I barely reached his shoulder. *not used to being dwarfed*

Mike Mussina who pitched for the New York Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles, lives in the town next to mine. My 2 friends who both played college baseball would go up to work out in his gym at his house and he would be up there usually so I'd head up there with them. It was pretty cool because he had all his awards, jerseys, autographs and photos from teammates he's played with and against.

Pretty awesome for a big time player who's got over $100,000,000 in the bank and was a 20 game winner for the Yankees 2 years ago. His kids love me, but his dog usually attacks me when I go up there.

Ricky Manginsay. One of the assistant directors for Family Guy, although last I heard he's recently back working for The Simpsons, which was his original department when they sponsored him here to the U.S. He's worked with other films/shows, such as Futurama, Dead Space: Downfall, Anastasia, etc. His wife and one of my uncles are co-workers, and they've been friends for a few years now. I finally got to meet Ricky at a family party in L.A on December 2009, then we met up again a week later for a Family Guy studio tour. He's given me some great advices and we've met a few more times after that. He gave me one of his 9-disc art collection, but I've yet to pick it up from my uncle. Very cool and down-to-earth guy. We still keep in touch on facebook - he still owe us a Simpson tour afterall. xD

Probably not much, but i met three celebs in my lifetime :awesome:

Earl Hebner(former senior refferee of WWE), Gregory "Hurricane" Helms, and Christie clark(Carrie Brady of Days of Our Lives)<--she actually lives somewhat close to me :3
