Online Usernames

Do you have any other usernames that you went / go with online, whether it be a gaming-related, forum username, AOL username, etc. It'll be interesting to see what we all came up with, especially from our younger days.

"AOL username"? Blimey, are you stuck in a perpetual time warp? lol

For the longest time I went by Fleur on the forums and on other message boards, so if you were to pay one of them a visit, chances are you'll see some weirdo named Fleur with her usual overly verbose nonsense. I'd rather not recall what my old posts on other messaging boards were about, because once you recall episodes of past shame, you can't easily rid them from your mind. Since I've made the conversion to Linnaete and I've standardised it across the various, disparate communities I've signed up for and/or am a member of.

Except my PSN name. That's still BlueSkyAhoy and I've no idea what possessed me to pick that name. I've never roleplayed as a pirate in my life and I'm personally more a fan of overcast weather.

My other online usernames were Argor251 and True_Argor. Despite there being an anime character of sorts called 'Argor', there was no connection. I just made the name up one day while creating a character on one of the Smackdown games.

'251' is also meaningless. A friend suggested random numbers while I was creating an account on Habbo Hotel... Uhhh...

True_Argor (my PSN account name) has more meaning to it, but only because Argor was already taken. I needed to make it clear to the world that I, and only I, was the true Argor. There can only be one!

Aside from the PSN account I don't really use any 'Argor' names now. I'm happy I switched to Dionysos as an online handle.

I somewhat recently started changing all my online usernames to be... less embarrassing maybe? I dunno, haha. I originally chose "randomrosso" back in grade 7 because my friends wanted to play Halo 2 together while we were waiting on Halo 3 to be released. Good times. But I'm getting old and it was time for a universal change.

So yeah, I recently made the jump and changed my usernames to be "jaaake_ross" on stuff like twitch, twitter, instagram... etc. Not that I use instagram. But still. Discord is just "jaaake" and so is my username on the other forum I'm probably a bit more active on (ResetERA). All that's left to change is FFF! Though I couldn't work out how to do that because of weird errors and just the kinda uhhhh convoluted? system of dealing with it

My earliest screenames were cadetprivaterodney and spyro12 (from when I was a Freshman in highschool and in JROTC to boot [I lasted a year]).

Jason Tandro has been my net handle since forever. I started it on the TerraEarth Forums, and it was based on the name of a character from a book I was trying to write at the time.

The only other major name that I've used is Fear Addict. This is the pen name that I wrote creepypasta under ("The Baptism", "The Wager Game", "Night Audit" are some of my modestly well known one)

I've had a few others here and there for really really minor things like Azeg-Rael for the Elder Scrolls wiki and ClanCurMicah for my steam handle.

Mines kinda been a natural progress

kane_demon was my very first online ID then it became gothic_kane I went by krystalsyn and krystal_suicide for a while but people kept thinking I was girl cos of the krystal bit so it evolved to gothicsyn. Only id thats different is my Xbox ID which is SuicidalSyn cos GothicSyn was taken

I came up with DaggerTribal back when I was 11 or 12, I thought I was being witty because I was combining Garnet & Zidane's names from FFIX as if they were married. It's cringe when I type it out, but I was really young. Most times people don't get the connection though, so I guess I've just gotten comfortable wearing it around. It's usually my go-to for non-professional accounts but it isn't always available so I've come up with various versions of it. I've said this earlier, but most people just assume I'm a dude that's really into knives Neither are true.


The forums I was apart of in the past is where DaggerTribal started, but later on when I began to get more familiar with my peers I changed my user handle to Miko. That one is a bit more cringe because I was going through a huge weeaboo phase at the time... but the name just kind of stuck. A lot of my friends from that time still refer to me as Miko since it is shorter than my real name. Of course there's variations of this too.

Its not a nickname id chose these days, however it is what it is and it stuck
