My lord, we've crushed the remaining upstarts from this world, Terra, and the campaign against those in your conquered world, Gaea has hit some snags. The rebels in that world have been difficult to track down due to their guerilla tactics."

"And how of the campaign in Gaia?"

"We're still transporting our troops through the portal. But there have been some complications. The armies on that world continue to thwart our efforts to build a strong holdfast and are frequently under seige."

"How many of our men are through right now?"

"Roughly 10,000 sir."

"Good, stop the transport of troops through the portal. I want you to begin transporting seige equipment. And have the men stop preparing the holdfast and prepare for a seige battle. If they wont let us build a holdfast, then we'll just take one."

"Yes sir, I'll make the preperations."

"And once you are finished, notify me. I'll lead this charge myself."

Galoko wandered the local forest and set up camp, this night was eerie, almost TOO quiet. Lani laid down next to him and made a low growl. There was a flash and Galoko cut the soldier's head off. "Aura's soldiers are still looking for me, guess they are sore about that noble I killed."

For how long she had been on the run, Illyria didnt know. It was so heart breaking, even though her eyes and face said different. "Keeping calm in your toughest of battles is the first step for victory" her father once said, and so she did, she was the perfect image of calm and serenity. Aura's armies had destroyed her beloved town, and even though they were known for not so many good things, her people but once great battle. Afterall, thieves, assasins, warriors and drunks are the best in the whole world. This brought a smile to her face, as she rested on a tree branch, looking up at the moon. It made her laugh, how silly this memories seem now.

Her mother...how she missed her, she could've protected her, after all, she was powerful enough. But she didn't let her, "you must run! I'm your mother, i'm giving you an order!" she yelled after she locked the door, soldiers trying to break in. Illyria was a skilled warrior, but not one powerful enough to take on a whole army. She understood, sacrifices were made in war all the time. But she would'nt stop, she would live for her mother's sake... but a noise brought her out of her thoughts, the sound of a blade.

She jumped from tree to tree, searching for the source of the noise. Aura soldiers was the first thing that came to her mind, but when she arrived, she sat on the branch and looked at the young man. "So you're the one they're looking for?" she said.

"The soldiers? I believe so, they are still looking for me because I killed their commander." Galoko chuckled and tried to calm a growling Lani "..From the smell of smoke, I suppose they destroyed another town?"

"Afraid so, my own town isn't to far from here...but it's been in ruins for months..." she said jumping from the branch, landing almost cat like. She fixed her hair and cloak. "The rest are mere villages...but they dont care...they never do...who may i ask...is the name of the only brave man to camp in enemy territory?"

"I am Galoko Manako, of Malas." He lowered his guard and Lani sat on her haunches breathing heavily, then licking Illyria's face. "This is Lani, and who, may I ask, are you, fair maiden?"

She started petting Lani, and smiled. "My name is Illyria til Alexandros, of Lior, it is an honor to meet you, Warrior Galoko, blessed our meeting be" she said, creating a bowl out of the ground, and filled it with water, giving Lani something to drink. "It is also a pleasure to meet you Lani" she finished smiling, as she continue to pet the animal.

Lani gave a low whine as if to say 'Thank you' and Galoko sits up "Well met Illyria." there was a loud rustling sound and the trio stand up "We have to get moving, more soldiers are searching the area."

She nodded, the bowl dissapeared. "It will take them a little while though, since i practically converted the forest into one great maze, but that wont stop them..." she said as she started to walk away but stopped. "They arent far from here either, the woods are no longer safe... there is nothing more i can do.." she said as she resumed walking.

"Well then, lets see what I can do." Galoko made several handsigns and almost every exit and corridor to the forest was covered with ice. "All right, lets go."

"You're good" she said as she walked through the forest, knowing exactly where she was going, the ice not affecting her in the least. "So where will you go now?"

"The nearest town might not be there...they're attacking towns for some reason, as if they panic." she said as she continued walking, the exit was near, you could see the light out of the forest, but something felt wrong, "or maybe its already gone.."

"Hmmm, Nova Blaze..." Quipped Nova to himself. He was in a sense the only survivor of the attack on Choss, and ironically enough, his last name was Blaze. How fitting for he to become the demon of Choss. By the way, how did that happen? Since when on Terra did it become a sin to survive a slaughter? Perhaps he'd been lying on the ground staring up at the sky for too long. Still though, it would've been a lot better if there was somebody that he could go cloud-gazing with.

How lonely had he been for the last few years?

More importantly, why?

Because of that bastard Aura!

He had his equipment laid to the side amongst the long grass. Walks among the choltha plains could be tiresome. From a far away glance, it looked beautiful, in fact breath-taking... Just not too fun to walk. How many miles had he walked without magical assistance?

Regardless, he did appreciate the good weather for a change, and he was glad for the silence. What he didn't appreciate however were those hideous towering long snakes, that hid underground and shot outside of the ground only to tower above you. How many had he ran into today? Oh yes, 5... And by the level of silence, it would probably be 6.

Galoko stared at the desolate land before them and said "Is no town safe from Aura? This place has done nothing to deserve this." The breeze seemed to calm his temper, he pat Lani's muscular shoulder and said "This is where we part, I must travel to a town called Gleen."

"No one has, but they all suffer his wrath..even if you dont deserve it" the memories of her home, the brave people in them, and the ones that sacrificed their lives, they didnt deserve it, but they died with honor, they died fighting. "I'll go to Ahm...or maybe to a town in the west." She said as she walked towards them, "Blessed your journey be, Galoko" she said kissing his forhead,"and bless your path be Lani" she said as she pet the animal goodbye and walked away from them.

Galoko bows and mounts Lani, they both head off to Gleen and are stopped by a soldier "Halt! Aura commands this town now, off with ye now!." The pair just stood there and the soldier put his hand on the hilt "Second Warning, leave at once!" "..Shut up." Galoko makes a quick handsign and the soldier is encased in ice and explodes. They head into town and the ninja dismounts and leans against a wall. "...Where is he?"

The sun was beginning to set. And all the men were in position. Aura sat watching and waiting. He never did like to wait, but in order for things to go right he would have to.

Its better to wait and have things prepared than to rush and make mistakes. Even a small mistake can be costly if your enemy is smart and knows how to capitalize on it.

The light began to slowly fade as darkness began to cover the land.

And as the last light from the setting sun was gone Aura rose from his chair.

"Let night turn to day and signal the attack."

And with that, a brilliant flash of light brightened up they sky. It could be seen for miles around. The soldiers nearby walked up towards the forest and tossed buckets of oil at the base of the trees and a second line of men followed up with torches and set the oil on fire. It didnt take long for the trees to begin catching on fire. Aura could see smoke starting to rise from the other sides of the forest.

"Perfect, lets see if they think that hiding in the forest was still a good idea now."

She turned to looked at the forest, "wow...it didnt take them that long" she said to herself as her eyes remain emotionless. But inside, she was angry...Aura had no right to take his anger on mother earth...but either way, he'll meet his end, for the prophecy was written, and the sacrifice was almost done. "Enjoy torturing her...for she'll do much worse to you" she whispered, cursing Aura's soul. Elementals were not creatures to be messed with, their powers were highly feared throughout the world. Their love for nature is only matched by their power. But elementals now days were rare, died saving what they loved most. But their sacrifice wasn't in vain, for those who toyed with mother earth always ended up bad...Always. She continued her way, killing any soldiers who got on her way.

The Watcher

"Sorry I'm late, had to help out a few friends out of a fire." Skeets said and lazily shifted positions. "I see. 'Charsa' Aura?" Galoko asked in a language so no one would notice. Skeets whispered in his ear and Galoko replied "So its started. Skeets, you might want to warn the Blades guild, we are going to need help." Skeets nodded and went his own way asking himself "The red haired demon needs help? HA!"

Thump thump!... Thump thump!

Crap

There it was, tearing through the long plain grass, like a blade through water. A thing like this had no need for stealth.

hroomph!

Out it came, barred dagger-like fangs oozing toxic slime. It's scales were dark brown, yet contain green spots onit's body that used be pieces of rent earth.

And yeah, it was big. But Nova had dealt with enough of these before, and gotten plenty of advice from soldiers and sailors alike on how to deal with those things.

"Hmph" He said to himself. He closed his eyes and allowed his mind to go blank momentarily as he focused his magical energies. Since he needed a focusing hand, he raised his left palm flat into the air and focused his energies on the space above. Nova had almost instantly compacted a large bit of magical energy with combustible air molecules to creates a tiny white flame. He compacted them further and firther, snapped his fingers, and shaped it with his hands instantly into the form of a white handle-less spear.

"HEAT JAVELIN!"

As the Wurm lurched forward (Long snake is just the name of this type of Wurm), he flicked his wrist and shot it through the beast at a speed that rivals the wind itself. There was no exit wound because it was still inside the creeaure burning away it's insides and boining it in it's own juices.

With a clenching of his left fist, it's head exploded, sending a shower of stick yellow green goo.

...But he had to get out of here fast because the others would converge on the spot.

Pardon me for intruding, but I fail to see a storyline here. What kind of RP is this again?
