It's called an anagram. The letters of their original names are re-arranged and an X is inserted to the best place.

The thing about the names is really impressing, I didn't know that Roxas was Sora X.x, I wonder what the other names are.

Axel's real name can be Alex, may be, if you already have a " x " in your name you don't add an other one, you only reverse the letter, I think, it's not sure but.
And Zexion hase a good look too.
